My dear you are right.

Some people will see ladies or guys buying okreka(second hand clothes) and they will start laughing at them that they are buying #200 clothes to wear, as big as they are.

But let them dress with that two hundred Naira clothe, you will see how beautiful they will appear.

When you wear expensive clothes, people don't look at you but they look at the clothe, in that manner they can't see your beauty but the clothe beauty. And that's how you hear some people say "your clothe is beautiful" instead of them to look at you and say "you are beautiful.

When you are wearing a low cost clothe that looks fit on you. People don't look at what you wear but they look at you and how fit you are in the clothe... Then you hear them say "you are beautiful" not the clothe is beautiful.

When you have money, it covers you... Even if you are ugly, nobody care to talk about it. They only talk of your money. But when a man is handsome and poor, people talk about his handsomeness and kindness.

Stop wasting your millions just on clothes to wear... Nobody care about what you wear but how you appear.

It's good to look nice.

It's good to smell well.

It's good to dress well.

It boast our confidence.

As a man or woman, you are suppose to look good always. You are expected to smell nice. You needs to understands what it takes to dress good.

You can look nice, handsome or beautiful without wearing expensive clothes all you need to do is to know how to combine your clothes that is how to blend the colours together. Stop giving excuse that you don't have clothes that's why you are not looking nice. Those one's you have, wash and iron them well.

As a young lady, make sure you make your hair don't just leave the hair undone. If you can't afford expensive human hair, you can get yourself some affordable attachment and make your hair. Shave your armpit hair, buy some deodorant and apply it whenever you take your bath.

You are expected to change your underwear, wash those ones you have and keep it in a well arranged wardrobe. Make sure you clean your ears with cotton wool and make sure whenever you are going out, you dress well this boast your confidence and self esteem. It always makes you look more attractive.

As a young man, you are expected to have a nice haircut, you are expected to shave your beards don't just let it look too bushy. Get yourself perfumes those ones you can afford in order to smell nice.

You are expected to know how to combine clothes and shoes together and that will makes you to look more handsome.

Conclusion, looking good makes you look superb, it makes you shine always, it makes people to respect and cherish you. It boast your self esteem. Always have it in mind to always look good.

It is quite appalling how some people take this for granted. Not realizing that how they look is really important and that it speaks a lot about them. There's this quote which says "dress the way you want to be addressed", which I'm sure it lacks no truth.

Lets consider how your dress sense might send a negative message.

In Nigeria, if a lady dresses in skimpy clothing, majority of the people she would come across might term her as an "easy to get" some might go to the extent of outrightly calling her a prostitute. Good she might have looked really pretty in the attire but their opinion about her was centered on the fact that it wasn't decent. She just gave them an impression ( possibly a first) which might be very difficult to convince them otherwise.

How you look conveys non verbal clue about your personality, background, financial status, level of confidence, values, interests and age.

As much as you're concerned about the first impression and the message passed across to others, we should also consider looking good for yourself. When you look good, you have this new confidence in yourself. Always have this goal of making yourself very presentable. Your dress style is your identity. The clothing necessarily shouldn't be expensive, looking neat is necessary and knowing how to make the right combination matters alot.

Looking nice is a step to self improvement, it shows you take care of yourself and it draws the right kind of attention to you.

Looking nice is a conscious effort. It’s an intentional act by the dresser. You have to be intentional about how you look. Guess what? It’s not as expensive as it seems. You don’t have to put on designer brands to look nice. Combining those clothes you feel are not designers can give you a million dollar look. You have to use what you have to look how you want.

With looking nice comes some skill. First off you need to understand clothing’s, your body shape and measurements. Also, you must understand the art of color combination. All cos you want to look good doesn’t mean you have to put on a red top with an orange trouser combined with a yellow shoe and a purple scarf. That’s fashion madness. Someone in their right sense would actually think you are going crazy especially when the make up is horrible on top. Omo, that’s a lost case.

We need to understand how clothings go with each other, the kind of colors we need to combine, what each color means and the feeling it brings. We need to understand not all sizes fits all, get your size and rock your body in that dress. Understand your body shape and get wears that celebrates such a shape. Don’t wear this cos someone is, you may end up looking like a masquerade.

As much as combining clothes and colors are important, the make up is wear alongside the dress matters. Nude make up are always preferred to flashy make up, however, if you are to wear a flashing make up consider the color of dress you out on.

With make up and dresses comes different accessories: earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc. Know what sizes and quantity is to be placed on you while looking nice .

Looking nice is important, your dressing should be modest but beautiful, look good and presentable before people and you will see how you will be addressed in a very high esteemed way. Dress the way you wish to be addressed. Many don't know how to look nice in their outfit, they don't know how to dress beautiful and merge colour combinations so that they can look very nice on their outfit. Some even have nice outfit but don't know how to combine the colours and they just still don't look nice despite the expensive outfits.

Looking nice should be intentional, we can check online to google on how to dress nicely, colours that are combinable and then how to merge the outfits together in other to look nice after dressing , and having other necessary accessories that will aid our looking nice and we will see ourselves looking much better when we dress ad and people will compliment us on looking very nice.

I think this should be a particular subject to people in highschool. Oh it's included already.

Before going for a particular outfit,we need to know what our body wants and what can fit our body. Moreso weathers should be considered while choosing a particular fabric so you wont end up wearing a summer clothe during winter period and a winter clothe during summer season.Quality of cloth should also be considered whoch i think is a topic on it's own in home economics for junior secondary level.

And always remember to dress modestly

The clothes displayed are really beautiful clothes. My sister just said she likes the first one. Every lady or man should always look nice and attractive.

If you want to get clothes always make sure you look smart in them before getting them. Every man will love to see a beautiful woman in a beautiful dress. And every woman will like to see a handsome man in a wonderful clothes. So please make sure you look great in your clothes before buying them.

It's good to look nice and our dress sense enhances how nice we look. We are all different people with different shapes and sizes, so do our clothes. One thing we should learn is to buy clothes according to our capacities as this saying goes "cut your coat according to your cloth."

Wearing expensive clothes is okay if you have the money but if you don't, get what you can afford.

Some girls believe you have to have a lot of money to look good and nice, but it's not true. The following below are how to dress well and look nice.

1. KNOW YOUR BODY SHAPE

As ladies, we all have different body shapes: the hourglass shape, pear shape, pencil shape and Apple shape.

a.) Hourglass shape: This lady has a well defined bust area and waist line (hips). If you are in this category. All kinds of cloths can fit especially snugly fitting clothes, it outlines your figure (but don't dress sluttishly).

b.) Pear shape: We all know how a pear looks like. This lady doesn't really have a well defined (full) bust but she has a defined waistline (hips). You can dress as the hour glass shape but if you are too conscious about your bust area, you can wear not too tight tops.

c.) Pencil shape: She is just straight. No too much bust and hips. It's a model figure. Don't wear tight clothes but free clothes (not too free though). You can wear a jean with a long blouse.

d.) Apple shape: She has a well defined bust area but no well defined waistline (hips). It's called an "athlete figure". Don't wear too tight skirts or pencil trousers, instead where flare skirts and loose fitting gowns or trousers. You can wear a fitted blouse and a flare skirt.

2. KNOW YOUR COLOUR

We all have different skin colours and we also have different colour of clothes. Each of us has specific colours of clothes that matches our skin. Try to wear some coloured clothes and ask people around if it fits you. But I can say that if you are dark complexioned, don't wear dark clothes (all the time). Coloured clothes like blue, yellow, pink, white, orange, purple tend to fit dark complexioned people.

3. KNOW YOUR HEIGHT

What fits a tall girl might not fit a short girl. Shorts skirts (not too short: knee-length) are well known to fit tall ladies because it enhances their long legs (femur) whilst long skirts are very good for short ladies.

To look nice is very important, you don't have to be half naked to look nice. You don't have to be on things that you are not comfortable on to look nice. The way you dress is the way you would be addressed. The way you dress attracts a certain type of people to your life. If you are dressed like an harlot, you would see the set of people that will approach you.

Spending lots of money, on our outfit or physical appearance doesn't mean you would look nice. If you don't know how to combine the right colours or have a dress sense, there is no way you would look nice be it wear the most expense sets of clothes. You also need to know what fits your body, forget Instagram models don't buy clothes because of trend.

Being simple atimes is the best way to look nice. Let your make up be light and moderate, reduce the use of flashy colours, that is if you know how to put on a make up. But if you don't pls don't put one on and go out, you can put it on inside you house maybe because you learning online. Don't go out with a funny eyebrow, or contour, you won't look nice at all.

Looking nice should be intentional, make conscious effort to look nice every time. When you look nice, you attract a future partner. If you dress shabby, you might not be able to find a suitable date. If you love to fix your nails, do it since it make you comfortable, make your hair on a regular, if you are lazy like me make your natural hair alone or get a wig. I don't believe in this saying " beauty is pain" you can look beautiful without feeling pain. For example ladies that cut their hair and still look nice, is it the cloth, the shoes or the hair that will be causing them pain? No.

We say something is nice when it is pleasant, virtuous, satisfactory, respectable.

To look nice means to look pleasant, attractive, virtuous,satisfactory and respectable.

To look nice, there are some steps to follow :

1. Eat good : to look good, you need to eat nutritious food like

Fish

Apple

Pineapple

Orange

Golden melon

Vegetables

Meat

Tea

And regular intake of water.

2. To look nice, pleasant : you have always observe adequate rest. If you eat good food and you don't observe adequate rest, it be as if you usually starve yourself.

Rest is very important and necessary, the same way we allow our phone to rest after using it for a long time so also we have to allow rest for body when necessary. God rested too in the Bible. Genesis 2: 3

So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.

3. To keep looking nice, you have to engage your self in personal hygiene.

It is very good for a person to look nice. You know when you look nice it make you more attractive to people , when you look nice it makes you to be more awesome on the society you belong to, there is an adage that say you will be addressed as you dress, so it is very important to look good always ,.

If you are going to mosque to pray you should look nice , if you are going to church on Sunday for service you need to look nice, even if you are a government worker you must look good to the office, even if you work at private sector also you must look good .

If you look nice it means you are very sound and have a good health .

Looking nice, does not necessarily means that it is the expensive or non expensive clothes that makes you to look nice.

Looking nice is how the clothes you are putting on is on you, it can be expensive or not expensive.

You can buy a clothes of a low cost and still look nice on it.

Some people have a very good body structure or shape, everything they put on make them to look good, or fits them.

Nowadays, our young people or ladies wear things that expose all their bodies, in the name of fashion or that they want to look nice.

You exposing your body, is not looking nice rather it is a total madness.

Some even enter the house of God with such clothes, making the next person sitting close to them, God help if the person is a guy, to become uncomfortable.

I always like the way the wife of Dr Paul Eneche dresses.

She covers all her body, the length of her clothes, is always below the kneel, in fact very close to her ankle.

That is a very good way to look, modesty is the watch world

You can still use a very low cost of clothes, to look nice, your tailor determines that for you.

Some tailors are very crazy, after telling them this is what you want as a style, they will sow for you what they feel is best for you, thereby, making you to look ugly.

Also, some tailors, are indeed very good, they can use that same low cost of clothes, to make you look superb.

Meanwhile, looking good does not necessarily means that it is the cost of clothes either expensive or not expensive, rather your body structure and your tailor determines that.

Is good to look nice,look nice is not a sin.for you to look nice you know your size and style that will fit you. For example you are using size 12 but you don't want your body shape come out you now used size 14 it will fit you not like when you use your size.you might use your size and not fit you .but what you use to combine it might not go with the dress you wear.like some time ago when am still in school,me and my friends we are going some where,we now see someoneand that person just face my friend and said I like your dress and face the second one and say this same thing and go.but I don't feel embrace .but when I got home I think about it.if you look nice people we appreciate you. So let try and look nice not to wait till you will have 10k cloth to wear before you can look nice.

Wearing big cloth does not make you to look nice, it does not guarantee your beauty.

Natural look is far more better than artificial. You shouldn't go ahead to borrow big cloth all because you want to look nice to impress people.

There are some cheap cloth that when you wear it, people will think that you add it all.

As I am, I love simple dress like this because I know am always looking good when wearing it.

Some people lack good dressing habit and they don't know what fit them.

That Is why people don't look nice even when they are wearing nice cloth.

Lovely piece dear! I admire people who dress well, smart, modest, and have a Charisma which portrait confidence. When I see these traits in a person, I'm always quick to approach and compliment you saying hola! You are beautiful, you look nice, your dress looks good on you, I love your outfit, I admire how smart you look in what you put on and so on. I had even gone as far as asking you to strike a pose so I could take a shot if it's the native atire perhaps I would show to my seamstress and ask if the design or outfit would suit me. It's however expedient that we dress to our own taste and put on what suit us with all modesty rather than wanting to be like someone who you admire so much as your judgement is perverted because he or she is a role model. Outfits generally should be categorized. You shouldn't put on what is fit for a beach party to work or anywhere else. You shouldn't put on casuals when you are to be corporately dressed. You shouldn't buy designers when your income isn't worth one and in the long run doesn't even fit. You shouldn't put on things that makes you look older but rather smarter yet decent. Whatever you have to wear, make proper do with it. Looking good makes you feel good and your interactions with others improve . This is a Psychological phenomenon .

Not Good Looks , but putting more thought into your appearance is one of the easiest ways to improve your prospects and the way people see you. It is non-verbal communication that includes the way you dress, your grooming , body language and etiquette. It’s not that your social life will be a lost if you don’t look perfect, but if you slack off with your appearance then you’re making things harder than they have to be.

Most people are pretty superficial and lazy when they size others up. If you look like you have your act together, they can’t help but assume you really do. The opposite is true too, if you don’t look all that great, people will be quicker to assume you have other negative traits.

Ever heard of ‘First Impressions Last’? I know you did so.

We all know that it’s essential to have nice first impressions (you only have 3-7 seconds), whether that be in work, school or partying because first impressions do last and sometimes, this can be the make or break for a friendly or any kind of relationship, for that matter.

If you look good in any situation you are in and even more so on first-time meetings, there’s a chance that you’ll be afforded a very pleasant first impression and gain new friends at the same time.

Looking good also gives way to your personality. And it actually even enhances it.
