The state policemen have organised a manhunt for the youths who stoned the man that was mentally ill to death over witchcraft allegations.

The incident hapened at Agudama axis of Yenagoa, the state capital. The victims was identified as John Dimie.

According to informations gotten, some said that the man was on-top of the roof and how he got there nobody knows, so they had to put witchcraft allegations on him.
So some youths on that day of the incidence were seen stoning the victim on the rooftop of the building to death in a viral video.

Police spokesman in Bayelsa State, SP Asinim Butswat, in a statement on Saturday, said that the viral video was being investigated to identify the perpetrators and arrest them.

He further warned members of the public to desist from taking laws into their own hands, as perpetrators of jungle justice would be fished out to face the full wrath of the law.
