This is going to be a very tough call as we have the likes of Belgium with players like Dr bruyne, Hazard and Lukaku.

France, Germany, Spain, Portugal the defending champions, the host Italy, Switzerland Wales, Ukraine etc..
Well I would tip France to win the Euros 2020 competition.
Withe likes of Benzema, Kante, Pogba, Greizman and Mbappe in the squad.
I don't think there's any team that is strong enough to stop France from winning the Euros this year

Czech Republic are already through to the round of 16 of the European competition taking place in Italy.
Having played a 1-1 draw with Croatia.
Czech Republic scored from the spot kick after a controversial penalty was given to Czech Republic after the ball was believe to have touched Lovren on the arm.

Patrick Schick scored from the spot with the goal keeper moving in the wrong direction.
Croatia drew level from Perisic in the second half after a wonderful finish from Perisic.
As it stands, Croatia are on the verge of being knocked out the European competition.

Well if I would tio any team to win the European competition 2021, it would be no other team than Portugal.
First things first, they have the phenomenal Christiano Ronaldo that can pull strings at any time and also score from any angle at any time.
In the defense line they have a Ruben Diaz, the PFA player of the season in England compuled with the like of the experienced Fonte
In the attack they have Diogo Jota, Bernardo Silva, and Christiano Ronaldo that can reap any defense apart any time any day.
Don't be surprised if Portugal wins the competition this season.

@lilcent: Do not write off Croatia from the Euro 2021 even though they are just one point in the group.
A loss to England in the opening by a goal to nil followed by a one all draw against Czech Republic.
With Czech Republic in first position with four points and England in the second position with four points.
If Croatia gets to defeat Scotland in their last game, they have a chance of qualifying for the next round of the European competition.

I must really say this match will be full of suspense and is going to be an uneasy one because truthfully we can hardly predict who will eventually be the winner in this competition.

When we have world stars like this that are involved in this competition is it Germany, that has super stars among their players that will say would win or will not win this competition.

What about taking a look at creation that has fast and good strikers also their defence is so tight we cannot underestimate their ability with this kind of stars they have also.

then when will look at the selection of Italy the combination of the type of players that they have together as a team those players are something else they are fast their strong teamwork is accurate their passes cannot be underestimated they are striking power even their coach is an experience man they will know that's going to be a very tough competition this year.

Ww also have the Netherland we have other countries that have their own superstars also we can predict that Germany would win or the other country team players will win but we're disappointed we just hope that the suspense will not make us to be knocked out meanwhile I just want to wish best of the team success in this year's competition.

@Fashnet: Yea you're very right about the surprises in this tournament.
Take for instance France playing a 1-1 draw with a team like Hungary which happens to be a very low side in the group.
A team that was defeated by Portugal by 3 goals to nil.
Aside that Croatia looking like a team that might not qualify for the round of 16 of this European competition taking place in Italy.
This is a team that made it to the finals of the world cup last summer only to be defeated by France in the finals by 4 goals to 2.
Let see how it ends in this European competition.

Italy are also through to the quarterfinals of euro 2020 after defeating Austria 2-1 after extra time.

It was a tough game for both sides as both teams were resilient in attack and in defense.
Although it had the better chances to have won the game before 90 minutes but their missed chances made them wait till extra time before they made a difference in the game.
The Shanghai SIPG striker Anautovic scored a goal in the 65th minute for Austria, but his goal was ruled out for offside.
The game ended 0-0 after 90minutes

In the 95th minute of extra time, Pedro Chiesa put Italy in front from a wonderful effort. in the 105th minute, Pessina made it 2-0 for Italy.
But in the 116th minute, Kaladzic made it 2-1 for Austria but it was not enough to draw them level as Italy defended effectively in order to keep the scoreline that way.
The match ended 2-1 in favour of Italy.

I strongly believe that Italy is tough contender for the Euro competition.
They play as a unit, they defend as a unit and they are less dependent on their strikers to score as anyone can score for the team.
Many attimes their strikers tend to serve as a bait to take out defenders so that other players would be able to score for the team.
Aside that they have an amazing manager Roberto Mancini who has been very successful as a club manager, giving Manchester city it's first ever league title, coupled with the Fa cup.
He has also won the League with inter Milan as well which shows how good he is as a coach.
I won't be surprised if Italy wins the European competition..

Congratulations to Denmark and Italy for making it through to the quarterfinals of the Euro 2020 competition.
A comfortable win for Denmark against Wales by 4 goals to nil

With a brace from Dolsberg and a goal from Mahlek and Braithwaite.
Also Italy had a tough game with Austria playing a 0-0 draw in the first 90 minutes.
But it took the brilliance of Federico Chiesa to give Italy the lead in the 95th minute.
Pessina made it 2-0 for Italy in the 105minute.
Although Austria fought very hard in the game and they drew one back from Kaladzic, it was not enough to keep the game going

I'll also give credit to the losing even if they are out of the tournament.

The game Belgium and Portugal in the round of 16 of euro 2020 taking place today is going to be a tough tie.

Belgium has the likes of Debruyne, Carrasco, Romelu Lukaku, Eden Hazard, Courtios etc....
These are players that have what it takes to make a difference in any game, aside that they are players that know how to win games at any point in time as they have proved that in their respective clubs.....
But the Portuguese side has the likes of Diogo Jota, Bernardo Silva, Bruno Fernandes, Guerrero, Rafa Silva, Ruben Dias the EPL player of the season, and the phenomenal Christiano Ronaldo.
Like I said earlier, the game is going to be a very tough tie for both sides but I think Portugal has a little edge over Belgium.
Which is based on the fact that they have a phenomenal Christiano Ronaldo the highest goal scorer in the Euro 2020 competition for now and the all time highest goal scorer in the European competition.
He has what it takes to win games at any time and any day.
I think the Ronaldo factor might have a role to play in this game.

I don't think England has what it takes to defeat Germany in the round of 16 European competition.
Having topped their by defeating Czech Republic, Croatia and a draw with Scotland, England topped the group with seven points.
While Germany needed a draw against Hungary to qualify for the next round, having won Portugal by 4 goals to 2 despite the loss against France.
I think England lacks the quality to defeat Germany because the Germans were known to be very tactical and fast.
I see Germany defeating England by 2 goals to nil.

I guess I was totally wrong about England, I felt they lacked the quality and the strength to defeat Germany.
But I was wrong because England proved me wrong.

What a wonderful display from the England team, they played as a unit, attacked as a unit and defended as a unit.
Even the goal keeper Pickford was splendid in his performance yesterday.

The Euro 2020 cup competition is seen as one of the elite soccer competition in world football, ranging from all European countries. The Euro 2020 has seen notable country and/or countries battle for the crown of being the best of the best in the tournament. The euro 2020 of this year, spans from 11 June 2021 through to 11 July 2021, all due to the pandemic outbreak (Covid-19 virus outbreak) during the year 2020. The competition, as earlier stated that the competition consists of a notable number of countries who compete to win their glory, countries like Portugal, span, Germany, england, Croatia, Belgium, Ukraine, Sweden and much more. But our question this time around, is who gets the glory, who wins the competition? Although having seen the competition so far, we've witnessed the group of death, overtime, this year sees Portugal, Germany and France, all in one group, a mouth watering and tasting fixtures to watch. The competition will be more important and wholesome to watch when it reaches the knockout stages - the round of 16,and also the quarter finals. Who will win? Well, the best team who plays well wins. Although favorites to win the competition are Belgium, England and Spain, all teams above the top rankings in world country football. The euro 2020 will be filled of great tenacity. Enjoy the moment.

Don't judge a book by it cover, alot of people didn't give England the chance against Germany based on their past meetings.

Aside that England has never won a competitive match against Germany since 1966 which is enough reason to write them off...
But they proved everyone wrong including their doubters.
They attacked as a team and defended effectively as a team.
The first goal came from Raheem Sterling after a wonderful cross from Luke Shaw.
While the second goal came from Harry Kane with a wonderful well timed header after a cross from Jack Grealish.
With this win England are through to the quarterfinals of Euro 2021.

With the likes of Germany and France that are likely contenders for the European competition this year have been knocked out of the competition surprisingly.
Germany were knocked out by England with goals from Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane enough to see England through to the next round.
While France were knocked out on penalties against Switzerland in which the 90 minutes ended in a 3-3 draw.
