When his good friend Lazarus died,Jesus said to his disciples: "Lazarus our friend has fallen asleep." But Jesus didn't mean that Lazarus was resting. Jesus further said: "Lazarus has died." (John 11:11-14) so Jesus compared death to sleep. He didn't say that Lazarus was in heaven or with his family members who had died. And he didn't say that Lazarus was suffering in hell or being reborn as another human or an animal. No,it was as if Lazarus were in a deep sleep.other Scriptures compare death to a deep sleep. The Bible says that when Stephen was killed,"he fell asleep in death."(Acts 7:60)The apostle Paul also wrote that some Christians had"fallen asleep in death."_1 Corinthians 15:6. 8Did God create Adam and Eve so that they would eventually die?no!Jehovah created them to enjoy life forever with perfect health. When Jehovah made humans, he gave them the desire to live forever.(Ecclesiastes 3:11) parents do not want to see their children grow old and die,and Jehovah feels the same way about us.But if God created us to live forever, why do we die?

What Jesus said about death. Jesus christ our heavenly father, make us understand that every one will die one day no body will live on earth for ever.
Jesus did not want the dead of a sinner, if you are a sinner you have to repent before you die because if you die in sin you are going to hell fire
We have to serve God when we are still breathing, Jesus love you and I so much , but we humans being are use to comment of sin, sin is not good for you , a child of God run away from sin, example of sin is killing, stealing, fighting, etc
If you did good in life all what you do will speak for you after living the earth, as a believer in christ if you die you will go and meet your father in heaven. Jesus christ has prepared a special place for his children in heaven. Which is the paradise, so let live a good life I pray we shall all make it in to heaven in Jesus name. Brothers and sisters be born again in christ Lord Jesus

Jesus said that we are death free because in (Romans 8:2). It says that For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

From the verse above, we see that there are two laws: the law of the Spirit of life, and the law of sin and death. The latter is the law at work in everyone that's not born again it promotes death and failure. Sickness and death go together because when sickness attacks the physical body, death actually sets in and starts destroying it, no matter how slowly

However, the law of life is more powerful than the law of death, and that's the law at work in the new creation. That law was activated when you were born again. So, death isn't at work in you life is at work in you now therefore, you're death free. Blessed be God!

Look at it this way: when we say an object, maybe a wristwatch, is water resistant, it means it's able to resist the penetration of water such that water couldn't cause it any damage. If something is airtight, it means it doesn't allow the entrance or escape of air. When you're debt free, it means you're not indebted to anyone you owe nothing. Therefore, being now death free, you have no death in you.

Read our opening verse again it's so profound. It shows you're free from death and the law of sin. Glory to God! Sadly, some Christians bring "death" into their lives, into their business, bodies, families, etc., by reprogramming themselves through their negative confessions. But as long as you keep declaring, "In my path, there's no death," you'll walk in the path of life.

Have this consciousness and function accordingly. Keep yourself in the path of life with your words. Remember, death and life are in the power of the tongue.

Jesus make us understand in the scriptures that, he did not want us to die in sin, he won't us to be a born again Christian, Jesus make us to know that everyone on earth will die one day, but what we need is to pray for long life .

If you die where are you going, our deed on earth will speak for us on the judgment day, some will go to hell while some are going to heaven.
Papa God I pray I go to heaven

"As the children are partakers of flesh and blood, [Jesus] also himself likewise took part of the same that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." (Hebrews 2:14-15)

Trent jerked up into a sitting position, suddenly wide awake. His heart pounded, and he was breathing hard and fast as if he had been running. "It was just a bad dream," he told himself, rubbing his eyes. "Just another dream."

Ever since his grandfather's funeral last week, Trent had had a bad dream almost every night. He would wake up thinking about Grandpa lying so still and silent in that big box. He would think about the quiet cemetery where they had buried the big box in the ground. And then he would start to get scared. What if his mom or his dad died too? What if he died? What would it be like?

Have you ever felt like Trent? The Bible tells us that the fear of death is something all humans have in common. But the Bible also says that we do not have to be slaves to this fear.

Would you be afraid of something that had no power to hurt you--like a dead leaf or a falling snowflake? Of course not. Did you know that Jesus Christ has made death just as powerless as these things for the Christian? Hebrews 2 tells us that when Jesus died on the cross, He destroyed the power of death. He destroyed Satan's ability to keep us living in the fear of death all of our lives. He died to deliver us, not only from slavery to sin, but also from slavery to fear.

To those who do not know Jesus as their Savior, death is an uncertain and frightening thing. But Jesus promised that whoever believes on Him as He has commanded will not see death (John 8:51). The believer's body will die, but he will be resurrected on the last day at the second coming of Jesus , never ever to die again , and will be with Jesus forever.

If you have believed on Jesus Christ, He is your Savior. He died that you might be able to live forever with Him. Even though we don't understand exactly what death is like, we who know Jesus do not need to be afraid of it. He has conquered death for us forever.

Jesus Christ has conquered death, and Christians do not need to fear it.

what Jesus said about death. I shall not die but live to proclaim the work of God almighty. in the book of John chapter 5 vs 24. verily verily I say to you. he that hears my word. and believe on him that sent me. has everlasting life. and shall not come into condemnation but is passed from death to life .11 vs 11-14. these things said he. and after that he said to them our friends Lazarus sleep. but I go. that I may awake him out of sleep (12) then said his disciples. lord. if he sleep. he shall do well. (13) however Jesus spoke of his death. but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep (14) then said Jesus to them plainly. Lazarus is dead. .

Wow interesting!!
First of all, the reason why the Bible referred Jesus word for death as sleep is that, anyone who dies in Christ is not dead but sleeping in the chest of the Lord. If you notice those burial ceremony that is done for believers or someone who hold a particular high post in the church will be quoted as sleeping in Christ Jesus".
When you die without knowing Jesus, that is when you will become a dead person, but when you die fully knowing Jesus, you are not dead because there is life after death for those who believe in Christ Jesus.
And also most christians don't use the word "dead", they rather use "sleeping".
Well, it is mostly said with faith.
And secondly, you said why do we die when God has created us to live forever. Truly God has created us to live forever but if you look back at the days of Adam and Eve, you will accept that our God is a merciful God.
In the beginning when God created the heaven and Earth, everything he created was good and attractive. Then, he has laid down his plan for we human, he had something good for us. He had created us for eternity, so why it is not so?, It is the sin of our forefathers. When Adam and Eve have sinned against God, the God has pronounced his judgment upon human. Not just that we will grow old and die but also the men will suffer, sweet to get money and provide for his family.
Don't you see that he is merciful, at least he didn't destroy human.
If not for the sin, we ought to have being living in joy and long life today but Glory be to God, we are still living.
