I'm surprised when French gaffer- Diddier Deschamp left out Samir Nasri "in the cold" for the 2nd World Cup consecutively. But i think France can't afford to leave this kind of quality player out of the Brazil party. Here is his record this season: Title winner with Man. City, played 34 of their 38 games. Scored 7 Premier League goals & made 7 assists. Created more chances than any other Premier League midfielders. Only Mikel Arteta had a better pass completion rate. Won the League Cup & scored in the final. Having said this however, i think his antecedent in the national team robbed him of his place in the World Cup.

Yes, just as u said, his antecedents rubbed him. He's been poor in National duties and making him drop down. And I believe they have quality players in their national team that are able to deliver too
