The People's Democratic Party (PDP) team of Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike has withdrawn from the presidential campaign of Atiku Abubakar ,the party's candidate.
This decision was taken at a meeting in Port Harcourt on the grounds that the party's National Chairman,Iyorchia Ayu.
Members of the team promised not to participate in Atiku's campaign until his removal . According to them, this is for justice and equality between the north and the south.
This development is coming just few weeks to the commencement of the 2023 political campaigns.
I'm sure we haven't seen the last of this .
