One that happens to be my greatest role model is Joseph the Dreamer and Prime Minister.
First of all, Joseph means ' God has taken away my reproach' .
Two particular things endear me to that character .
1). His determination not to spoil his image before God and man. He had every opportunity to mess up his spiritual life with Mrs . Potiphar, but he rejected the Devil's offer. His fear for God was deep.
2) He was made a Prime Minister in a strange land. With Joseph's story and promotion,I always believe that God can lift you anywhere he takes you to. God's promotion supercedes the protocols of man because He owns the hearts of the kings . Joseph was a case of from prison to palace.
But one thing I decided not to imitate in Joseph was his talkativeness about his dreams. Or maybe it was because of his young age and how much he trusted his family , so he didn' t know he had to be cautious.
Those dreams he revealed propelled his brothers to see him as a threat to their superiority .
We should learn to keep certain revelations until the appropriate time.

What a good question.
King David will always be my favorite bible character. Aside the fact that he was regarded as a man after GOD'S heart - he was also a man after people's heart.
He really fulfilled the prophetic destiny of his name DAVID (which means dear or love).
He was so impartial in showing love to people. Divers time, he has helped his servants. He was so thoughtful!
Remember his case with king saul? Mehn! This guy was unique. How can you intentional miss the opportunity to retaliate his archenemy (king saul). I learnt from him that no matter how bad and evil a man of GOD is, it is not in our power to judge him- allow GOD to deal with him by Himself. And truly GOD dealt with him.
And when he falls into temptations, he comes to GOD in that brokenness acknowledging his human frailties.
He was never proud and lofty, a true worshipper of GOD. He had to ignore his class and royal splendour to dance for GOD, like recklessly dance for GOD? You can imagine that meekness!
Again, he was one of the men (in the Bible) who exhibited true romantic love. When he loves, he loves with all his heart - Abigail, Bathsheba and even Micah; even when she ridiculed him, he still sought for her.

There were lots of characters in the bible that I love, but am going to talk about David.
David is one of the men in the bible that did the most disspeakable things in the bible yet he was an heroe.
David was a very wise man, he knows boundaries and respect protocol. That is why he refused to kill king saul.
He respects God, let me refrase that; he feared God. That's why he always sought for God before doing anything.
This is why God Said he a man after his heart. I feel like he kept himself there.
He was wiser than his time. I can say that he was living in the future because, anytime he sins, he ask for forgiveness unlike others.
