Let me start with the Everton versus Liverpool game, it's going to be a very tough as this is a Merseyside derby although Everton have not won this derby.

The last time Everton won the derbywas in 2010 by 2-0 with goals from Mikel Arteta and Tim Cahill.
Everton has been in fine form this season with four wins from four because coach Carlo Ancelotti has rejuvenated the team with the likes of Allan and Rodriguez coming to make the team better. The Liverpool side who are the defending champions this season has been in fine form as well despite being with washed by Aston villa in their last game by 7 goals to 2. The whole squad will be back to play that game withe likes of Sado mane and Thiago Alcantara deemed fit to be play the game. I see Liverpool winning the game by a slight victory. Everton 1-2 Liverpool.
As for Manchester city versus Arsenal it's going to be a tough game for Manchester city to win due to the presence of Mikel Arteta who has brought life to Arsenal. But Manchester city all the way. Manchester city 2-1 Arsenal.
Southampton versus Chelsea is going to be one those games that would be an easy ride for Chelsea but we cannot take away the fact that Southampton is good enough to spring surprises but Chelsea would win by 3goals to nil.
The game between Newcastle versus Manchester united is going to be a tough ride for Manchester United as they are finding it hard to get back their form, having being beaten by Tottenham 6goals to one. They have only won one game in the last four games which doesn't speak good of the team. My prediction is a draw.
Newcastle 1-1 Manchester United.

@Vickybrown:

Good one VickyBrown.
but i think there will be an upset in one of the games with Everton Vs Liverpool or with Manchester City Vs Arsenal. Everton and Arsenal are in better form than Liverpool and Manchester City. what gives Liverpool and City the edge is their records not form. so i expect one to loose

@ogiejoe: You might be right, if any team is going to lose points then it would be Manchester city. I don't see Liverpool losing points against Everton. Its a win win for Liverpool.

I know that Carlo Ancelotti's team have won all seven of their games in all competitions, including winning all four of their top-flight matches.
Everton recorded a 4-2 win at home against Brighton last time out, which was the fourth straight game in which the Merseysider's had scored at least twice. The good run of form has been enough to take Everton to the top of the Premier League table.
I know that Everton have been very hard to beat at Goodison park having suffered only one defeat in the last fourteen games at home.
But they have not kept a clean sheet in their last six league matches on home soil, which shows how vunerable they are at the defense line. This is a weakness Liverpool would eventually exploit planning against Everton.
I know you might think Liverpool are not in their right form at the moment after losing to Aston villa at villa park by 7goals to 2. But the likes of Joel mjatip, Sado mane and Thiago Alcantara are back in the squad, defeating Everton would not be a problem.
I still stand on my 3-1 prediction in favour of Liverpool.

@Vickybrown

Manchester city vs Arsenal
Well I expect man city to bounce back from their draw with Leeds united, man city still have the upper hand in this match even though there have not been on form recently. Arsenal on the other hand, with cap Aubameyang and Tierney appearance still on doubt, Arsenal are also capable of springing surprises. With their new signing Thomas Party, Arsenal are capable of taking something from Etihad. Personally I want Arsenal to win as a fan but you know man city

Recommendation: Man city 3- Arsenal 1

Liverpool vs Everton
Merseyside derby, one of the derbies with a lot of history in the English premier league. Liverpaool, a wounded lion, will want to do everything in their power to come back to winning ways. I don't know if Mane will be back but Liverpool are no doubt gonna give their best shot, lossinv two games in two matches isn't a great news for the reds especially after their massacre in hands of Aston Villa. As for Everton, still unbeaten this season will be looking forward to continue their winning streak with the likes James Rodriguez, Allen,Richardlison and top goalscorer Dominic Calvert lewis, who has been in top form for the toffees. I personally want stalemate of any sort.

Recommendation: Liverpool 2- Everton 2

Premier league action returns thus weekend after rounds of matches from the international break. This weekend fixtures are really mouth watering and can't wait for the weekend to be here.
My predictions goes thus :
The first game of the day which is between Everton and Liverpool, with the recent form Everton is on i believe they can withstand the pressure from the Liverpool side giving the shambolic performance Liverpool delivered in their last game against Aston villa. I see goals in this match, for me i this Liverpool would wanna bounce back, Liverpool to edge it 3-2.
The game between Chelsea fc and the saints (Southampton) chelsea in their last match has started to display glimpse of brilliance with the set of talents they just acquired gradually jelling together, on the other hand Southampton just managed to pull their first league victory against West brom. Chelsea to win comfortably at the bridge.
Another interesting game to look forward to is the match between Manchester city and Arsenal. It is really worrisome for Manchester city with their stuttering form in the couple of games they've played, coupled with the fact that thir key players have been plagued with injuries, they are so unfortunate in the early stages of the season. As for the Gunners their resurgence is so commendable with the influence and brilliance of their young coach in Mikel Arteta, they seem to have rediscovered their rythm under their new boss. It will be a tough match but i think i predict a slim victory for Manchester city 2-1 in favour of city.
Manchester United vs Newcastle i am not expecting so much from both sides, I predict a score draw between them.

The Merseyside derby us surely going to be a great encounter between both sides, talking about the The Toffees, Everton(the blue Merseyside), and The Reds, Liverpool Fc(The Red Merseyside). The match is expected to produce lots n lots of goals.

Of course, the Carlo Ancellotti Everton side, has been in an excellent shape since the beginning of the 2020/2021 season, they are currently the league leaders after winning all their opening matches. They also have a forward or attacker eh have helped the Toffees into their excellent form scoring 10goals in just 4 matches.

Carlo Ancellotti, made good signings during the transfer window which ended few weeks ago, the manager managed to make an impactful transfer deal, in James Rodriguez, the Columbian whom was out of favor in the Zinedine Zidane side (Real Madrid).

Liverpool on the other hand, did made good signings bringing in the playmaker from Bayern Munich, Thiago Alcantara along with other prolific players to fill up the gap and address the issues in the squad. They have started the season brightly, but they want into the break with a shocking defeat at the hands of an Aston villa.
They have some injury problems tho, but with the return of starman Sadio Mane into the starting 11,it is a great boost to the team as the dangerous trio of Mane, Salah, and Firminho is now complete. Though the Everton side have a threatening Calvert Lewin, who has 10goals in all competitions.
Everton edging this one.

Well also, the clash between The Citizens and The Gunners, Manchester city and Arsenal at the Home ground of the Sky blues, (Etihad stadium). I strongly hope to see an entertaining match between these two clubs which has an exciting feature of a game between the Boss and the Apprentice.

The Boss as we all know or as we are all aware is no other person/manager than Pep Guardiola, the former manager of the Bavarians (Fc Bayern Munich). He trained His apprentice now manager at the Emirates with Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, at the Etihad. So I am positive that the game will surely be a great match.
The Citizens have started the season in an unstable form, due to the low performance they have put in to play in their opening matches of the 2020/2021 English Premier League season. Though they had a good transfer market saga, bringing in fresh youthful legs to support the club but they also sold some good players out.
They were not up to par, in their previous games, yes they started with a massive win but they also fell short at the hands of a newly promoted Leeds United. While The Gunners on their side managed much more signings than the Manchester city team.
Mikel Arteta, has done a great job in the Arsenal team, getting to reform the unproductive Arsenal squad into a much more productive team. This brand new Arsenal team will be up against an attacking minded side which have got a good boost with the return of their no. 9 Sergio Kun Aguero...

@veune7:

This match turned out as we all expected it to turn out, it produced lots of goals, it produced series of talking points, VAR(Video Assistant Referee) decisions, injuries, records and so on. The game between the two Merseysides clubs(Liverpool Fc vs Everton Fc), was indeed an encounter to remember.
The match was filled with thrilling moments, with both the Reds and the Toffees participating in all excited scenes and difficult or harsh decisions made by the Referee. Of course the game ended in a 2-2 draw with the home side having to level up from a goal down on two occasions.
Liverpool were in front in the opening 3 minutes, all thanks to a Sadio Mane clever side foot flick in to the back of the net following a cross from Alexander Arnold. The Toffees responded immediately after the injured Virgil Van Djik, was substituted for a poor form Joe Gomez.
Michael Keane, headed in the corner kick set piece from Impact signing James Rodriguez, the goalkeeper Adrian has been speculated that his skills is not good enough for the Reigning Champions. However Carlo Ancellotti side were the most convincing side to have gone ahead before and after the break.
A shocking n sudden left footed strike from Egyptian Mastermind Mohammed Salah put Liverpool back in front with thay wonderful screamer from outside the area. The Home side got back into the game minutes after Mo Salah goal, with in form frontman Dominic Calvert-lewin, whom headed the Toffees equalizer in to the back of the net. The match was a great encounter.

Manchester city 1-0 Arsenal Fc.... This was another thrilling encounter, between 2 rivalry clubs, it was the Citizens against the Gunners, The Boss against the Apprentice. The whole scenario was worth watching as we all witness an end-to-end football.

Manchester city went with their normal attacking mind set of game play even the strategy and the tactics of the Manchester city Boss Pep Guardiola, says it all. They benefited from their onward pressing in the opening 30minutes with Raheem Sterling firing them in to the lead.
It was an end-to-end football tho, as The Gunners also came with their A-game to the Etihad stadium despite the just resuming, from the international break. Mikel Arteta went with his normal mind tactical gameplay against his former Boss which he knows very well.
The Arsenal team we're also threatening the Manchester city defense which has been the major problem of the Sky blues since its weakness has been known to most clubs in the English Premier league since the departure of Vincent Kompany.
The Citizens held on to the 1 goal advantage till the very end of the game, it was indeed a great performance and good display from both clubs and managers. The result shows how intense the game was and how thrilling it really should have been.
Tho both clubs have international competition to attend to during the week so probably that was the drive of the players which led to this wonderful encounter...

Manchester United against Newcastle at Saint James Park, on Saturday night was also, or was indeed another English Premier League Round 5 or week 5 clash, as both sides were desperate for the win and the points as much as we all expected a dull game, it was pretty exciting.

The Home side, Newcastle united, were the more favorites of the match due to their previous games which they scale through pretty freely with massive win in the opening day and a huge defeat in the third week. But they surely took the game on The Red Devil's.
The Magpies went ahead in the opening 20 minutes, they surely had to give thanks to Luke Shaw for that unfortunate own goal, which gave them the lead. Shortly after that The Red Devil's skipper and record signing Harry Maguire headed in the corner kick set piece from Impact signing Bruno Fernandez.
Juan Maya provided n assist for the Portuguese Bruno Fernandez which was volleyed into the net with a thunder strike from the playmaker but the goal was eventually ruled out for offside, the playmaker was awarded another opportunity from the spot kick.
However, Bruno Fernandez who haven't missed a penalty since 2016 eventually missed the penalty, it was a good penalty kick but the goalie made the right guess and went the right way. The Red Devil's no doubt went ahead minutes later thanks to the Portuguese Bruno Fernandez.
He eventually turned in a great pass from fellow team mate, Aaron Wan-Bissaka fired Manchester united into a 3-1 lead with his first goal for the club, also lone striker Marcus Rashford got the winning goal for the traveling team with a skillful goal in the later stages of the match...

The Clash between the Blues And the Saints in the English Premier league round 5 or week 5 was also an encounter which was thrilling and worth watching on Saturday evening, last weekend. The game ended in a shocking 3-3 draw which was unexpected and so so sudden as the blues were favorites to win the game.

The Blues (Chelsea Fc) were in control of the game from the very beginning till the very last minute of the game, it was just so so so unfortunate for then that they had to walk away with a point after all the hardwork and thrilling moments of that encounter.
Timo Werner, the new signing gave Frank Lampard side the lead in the opening 15 minutes of the game with fine goal following an assist from fellow new signing Ben chilwell, He also doubled the lead by adding another goal to his tally in the match with a pin point header assisted by playmaker Jorginho.
The Saints responded just before the game went into half time, thanks to last season top scorer for the club Danny Ings whom pulled a goal back 2minutes before the break. Chelsea were in control of the game and eventually they went ahead again as another new signing Jai Havertz got into the scoresheet restoring their lead yet again.
The Saints had all ready leveled the score line 8minutes into the second half thanks to Che Adams who forced an error off the Chelsea defence as well as the goal keeper. They kept pushing and pushing as well soaking the pressure from the blues which eventually died down in the latter stages of the match and the Saints got their equalizer which led to The end of the game...

Another, yet shocking encounter was the London derby between Josr Mourinho Totheham Hot Spurs and the David Moyes Hammers, West Ham United. It was indeed a great performance and good display from all players and both clubs and managers, tho the match ended in yet another 6 goal thriller goals coming equally from bith sides.

Totheham Hot Spurs, were in control of the first half as all their goals came in the opening 20 minutes of the match due their stylish fast tempo, and counter attacking mind set of game play which the Hammers couldn't handle in the opening stages of the game in the first half.
Son Heugh Min open the scoring in the very first minute all thanks to an assist from fellow attacker and star striker Harry Kane,as the Spurs drew the first blow on the hammers. Seven minutes later Jose Mourinho side doubled their lead this time vice versa from both players.
Harry Kane got his name into the scoreboard and Son Heugh Min provided him the assist for that goal. 8minutes later they trippled their lead, Harry Mane yet again getting a brace for the second time this season, Sergio Reguilion provided the assist for the goal.
The game was end-to-end football till the last 10 minutes of the match when the Hammers drew level in such a remarkable style after a super sub from the manager David Moyes a substitute scoring Manuel Lanzini, an Own goal from Davidson Sanchez and Balbuena scoring his goal...
