I feel there is nothing new to see on the road when traveling, nothing so special and unique, and most of the time it is the random houses and eateries etc that you see, hold up and dust every were, except when you go through the north and the west, where you can see maintains and rocks else there's nothing new from all you see as go out every day.
But the river is no were you really go all the time except you plan for it or you close to it. so the experience is always special and renewing, there you really get to appreciate nature. you see things you don't see all the time.
I can't stop reminiscing about the mangrove forest expecialy, the breeze, the cool air, the water itself, the different tides, different sizes of the waves, and sometimes the miracle of how the fresh water and salt water does not mix which happens at the wider part of the river, not to talk of when you get to the sea, seeing from afar and it looks like the sky and the water is Touching each other. am sometimes, when the tide is low and you can see the surface of the land and the redish evening sun looking as if they are touching each other, it's so beautiful, something one can't for get easily, I really appreciate it.

Traveling by road is the one I like best, for me sometimes I get scared of the water but I know how to swim still I don't underestimate the law of the water. Once your in the water you have to follow the rules but if your on land you can create your own rule for survival.

I don't like traveling by water because of the fear of having a large amount of water. I always get scared if I am staring too much at the water because of the flow of the water and how it moves. I have never traveled by water and have never imagined traveling by water.
I like traveling by road, especially if it is a long distance. I see traveling a long distance as an adventure that makes me happy and I always look forward to it. What I enjoy most is the fantasy of seeing other places aside from where I am used to; I get to travel a long distance when we are going to a church camp which gives us the advantage to visit many states.
The traveling I am anticipating now is to travel by air. Oh, mine! I can't wait to travel by air. I want to know how it feels and how the whole process will go. I pray that imagination comes to reality one day.

I once travelled by the river and I enjoyed it compared to the road.
The serenity, clean air and free flow of traffic was what caught my breath.
I also enjoyed seeing passengers on other boats.
It was also faster because I used a speed boat.
It was actually a journey for work purpose on the Niger Delta region but it seemed like an excursion.
It was truly memorable
**I love being me.**

Like you and some other people here, I have been privileged to travel by land and water.
Because of the topic of interest which is seeking to know which of the means of transportation presented is, the traveller with the most experiencial feeling, I would say it's the one of the water transportation.
Why, for one, we don't get to travel by water everyday, so it should be normal to get these kinds of respond more than that for land.
The risk involved in traveling through water transport is higher, so with more risk, comes more experience also.
You get to travel with people with somewhat similar interests when you travel with water as compared to land.
I don't know about you, but one experiencial thing about my journey via water, was the hospitality I received, and when I say hospitality, I mean the food, mostly. You'll get to eat stuffs that are far different from what you know around or are used to.
The points can go on more than this, but let me limit it to this.
