This is so sad. See a poetry written about Nigeria 🇳🇬

NIGERIA :

The land of Generals without war,

Professors without discovery,

Politicians without ideology,

Wealth without prosperity,

Religion without piety,

Leaders without vision,

The oppressed without resistance nor worries,

Courts without justice,

Criminals without fears,

History without glory,

Heroes without honour,

Schools without learning,

Artists without taste,

Intellectuals without thought,

Terrorists without identity,

Appointees without roles,

Hunger without famine,

Change without progress,

Next level without foundation,

Democracy without citizens,

Democracy without freedom of speech.

Religion without conscience.

Land of money without amenities.

Unity without love,

Heroes without sacrifice,

Policies without plans,

Crime without culprits,

Saints without humility,

Integrity without performance,

Wars without enemies,

Billionaires without business,

Youth without dreams,

Elders without wisdom.

Rulers without sense of justice,

Pastors without the fear of God,

Priests without respect for their callings.

Nigerians look yourselves in the mirror.
What do you see?

Please Pray for Nigeria.

Right now I cannot describe the terrible state of the country.
The worst part of it is that we cannot actually trace the background of this corruption.
All we know is that after independence the country has never been in the right order.
I don't know whether maybe it's because we got the independence so easily.
A country that prefers to give cows a database when the citizens do not even have a database.
I don't know why we have leaders that lack vision. All they are interested in is what comes to their pocket..
I pray that things get better in Nigeria.

Thank you very much for this write because everything you said about Nigeria is actually true.
This is a country where the leaders lack vision. That is why it looks like the country is regressing everyday.
A country where the leaders placed a ban on cryptocurrency the future of the world market trade in years to come.
A country where the education system is based on writing to pass exams instead of teaching the students how to solve problems.
I just hope and pray that things get better on the long run.

This write just reminded me of the news I read on twitter about the house of senate approving bill for database for cows.
When citizens of Nigeria do not have database aside celebrities, and dignitaries in the country.
So what they're trying to let us know is that cows are more valuable than humans in Nigeria.
What a country with leaders that lack vision and purpose.
The rate of unemployment keeps increasing, our naira keeps falling drastically every day and nothing is being done about it.
Please lord Come and heal our land because that is all we need now.

@Vickybrown:

Yes it's shameful to see a country blessed with so much and yet some low thinking people happen to be the ones ruling the country.
Hopefully, after 2023, Nigerians should learn and vote someone not in APC and PDP. It's time to let those thieves step down and allow other party to come up

While going through this post, one thing that kept ringing in my mind is Favouritism. You are wondering why, don't worry am going to explain and I hope you will be able to see things the way I see it.
In my country Nigeria, the major reason why we have artists without talents, courts without justice, leaders without vision, schools without learning to mention a few. The reason why these things will be so is because, the people that are in the justice system, our teachers and professors and in the government are not supposed to be there, they got there by corruption and favouritism while the people that really have the passion for teaching, people that have strong hatred for lies and injustice are there on the street hawking because they don't have the elites and they don't have the money to bribe there way in. Now tell me when those people that are rather supposed to go to a remote place or go through some experiences to discover their talents and understand the true meaning of life are the ones in charge of all these basic stuffs, of cause they will behave badly. They don't have passion for the less fortunate and those deprive of injustice, they know nothing about the position they are occupying, of cause they will not perform well.
The reason why will have pastors without the fear of God is because majority of these pastors are not called by God, they reclined to it because there was nothing else to be doing for them to be fending for themselves so no zeal, in fact, they are in the offices of pastors as a result of frustrations! Do you in your wildest dreams expect those kind of people to perform their duties alright? Of cause not.
I think if we want to things to change in these areas, I think it is high time merit is supposed to be our one number qualification instead of favoritism.
I believe when people are giving their rightful place in this country, more love will flow and so the result they will be producing will come out naturally because there is a strong passion pushing them. Do you all agree with me?

@Victoria: God will only save us when we are ready to save ourselves.

Most Nigerians are so comfortable with the suffering that is going on in Nigeria.
That is why when this same politicians come out for different post in election they are still voted by Nigerians after sharing cash and food stuffs.
I don't think the citizens of Nigeria will come from this hardish until we say enough is enough and start doing the right thing.
I look forward to a better tomorrow for Nigeria.

Nigeria is what it is today because Nigerians like to be deceived.
We always have the opportunity of appointing the right people but partiality and tribalism has blinded us.

Didn't we have a good and promising leader in the former president ( Good luck Jonathan)? But no, we preferred an iron bender to him.

So why are we complaining now?
The truth about Nigeria and Nigerians is that we simply love to deceive ourselves because of selfish interests.

That is the truth about Nigeria

Nigeria is my country and I am proud of Nigeria but let look at Nigeria status today .
Nigeria is blessed with so many minerals resources but our leaders are the primary problem our leaders are the origin of Nigeria problem.
Com to think of it we hope for this present government to bring about chnge in the country but rather the situation of the country get worst and we claim to have government.

Our leaders do not listen to us there are so many youth out there which are graduate but no provision for job, just imagine the huge amount of money that our senators are receiving monthly, whereas we have some people out there which are unable to afford a single meal per day.

The truth about Nigeria are much we can't finish it because there are lot to say and sometimes when we say the truth it is bitter.
1.we don't have leadership.Nigeria lack leaders ,the leaders we are having are not competent enough but they are competent in corruption and criminal activities.

2.no job opportunity and employment.look at the country Nigeria no job for the youth many graduate are seeking for employment but non to be found, the problem is that if you do not know a big politician at the federal level you wont get employment.
