Nigerian Global Affairs Council (NIGAC) - Proposed Bill on Age-Limit Increment for Recent Graduates 2021

Nigerian Graduates are always placed at a disadvantage due to their economic and financial conditions. There are also SYSTEMIC CONDITIONS like the endless STRIKES (Industrial Actions) undertaken by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) that accumulates in Undergraduates spending almost two extra sessions when added cumulatively to the regular four years program they are meant to undertake.

This disadvantage has placed many at the mercy of Nigerian Private Sector Employers who prefer younger-aged Graduates. There is no verifiable data that shows younger graduates to be smarter or more agile. We believe that work-ready recent/fresh graduates should be given equal opportunities to pursue entry-level opportunities like their younger counterparts.

We are CALLING on Nigerians to ADD their NAMES and VOICES to helping our TEEMING population of disadvantaged GRADUATES who get impacted NEGATIVELY by this official segregation that has impacted upon their chances of starting off their CAREER on a GREAT PEDESTAL. By providing us with your DATA, it is easier to get our Legislators to SPONSOR this BILL on the floor of the National Assembly.

Kindly click on the link below to see the specific measures the Nigerian Global Affairs Council (NIGAC) is putting in place to get this BILL enacted into law - we are working with a number of Stakeholders and Policymakers to enact this BILL into Law in 2021.
