News/Events » Sad Reality of the EndSars Movement by: Ninoevans(m) .:. Sat, 21 Nov, 2020 - 08:26:38:pm GMT

The EndSars movement which was initiated and led by youths as a means of bringing end to police brutality on civilian had a devastating ending. The peaceful prostesters who were exhibiting their right and playing their role as a watchdog to prevent the continuous killing of innocent civilians in the hands of some unscrupulous officers in the Police SARs department, were shot point blank by Nigerian soldiers. Several youths were killed and some of the witness confirmed that the military packed the corpses of the people that they kill to cover their evil acts. The Lagos state government at first claimed that there was not casualty and after much pressure accused the military of the dastard act. While the military continues to deny that they opened fire at the protesters, the big question on the lips of everyone is "Who gave the order?".

The CNN recently released a video that showed that the military truly opened fired at innocent soldiers. This video has brought about a massive outcry for the prosecution of everyone found guilty. Instead of taking an indepth look at the report, the minister of Information, Lai Mohammed was quick to tag the report of CNN as fake news and called for them to be sanctioned. Nigerians are not surprised as the Minister is already known as a notorious liar within Nigeria. He went further to state that the Federal government is satisfied with the actions of the military. This has made many people to conclude that the federal government was the one that gave the order because he was scared that the opposition will hijack the protest and make his administration ungovernable.

It is a shame to have monsters as leaders who careless about the welfare of the masses. In fact, the President show hide is face in shame for calling his citizens names on different occasions. it is glaring that this administration lack the right ideas to take Nigeria to its promise land. The only idea that they have is that of borrowing, embezzling and corruption. Nigeria cannot move forward with people like this and the international comity of nations should support the youths in kicking these old cargoes out of power. They should stop supporting them if they want peace because very soon, they will be faced with conflicts that will have great impact on their economy too..

I think the only way Nigeria can get better, is through a revolution... what do you think?

This is so sad and terrible, the government we elected by vote killed innocent and unarmed youths protesting for their future. All they wanted was good governance for a better future and a tomorrow. These youths were shot dead by special forces of the army sent by the federal government as reported by CNN, which the federal government denied at first.

The government think we we are fools, they believe we're still sleeping but they're wrong we are ready to make this country better for ourselves and our unborn generation. Enough is enough. We are not just going to end SARS but we are also ready to come together and end bad governance, end corruption etc.
As for that minister of false report, Mr Lie Mohamed,it's obvious his name keeps following ever where he goes, all he does is to give false report. How would you come out to say that the CNN report is a fake news when there are alot of witnesses that can come out to say the news was true because they were there when it was happening.
Don't worry just keep up with your false report, your time will come and when it comes, there will no where to hide because everywhere would be too hot for you.
I don't think a revolution would solve our problems for now. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a step and I strongly believe we're taking the right step in the right direction for now. We have a system gives you the right to be elected as a leader once you have the highest vote. All we need now is for the youths to come out aspire for these post of leadership and together we would vote these bad leaders out of the sit. But if they refuse to leave that is when we should go for the next step which is a revolution because we have followed due protocols.

This is really so sad and pathetic because these innocent protesters were just murdered in cold blood and no one is doing anything about it.

For lai Mohammed as his name sounds, he is a bloody liar and should be accuses for lending his voice in support of a clear murder case. Just imagine the kind of cold blooded idiots we elected to rule us. They don't feel anything as far as it doesn't concern them.

Some times I just wish nigerians can be brave enough to bomb all of them at once when they are doing their meeting inside Aso rock. Because at this I'm highly disappointed to be born in this country. Our leaders have really failed us and they need to pay for their evil deeds.

Right now the only strength we have is our vote and come 2023 we must vote out all these useless political parties that have caused us pain when they promised us change. The problem now are the iletrate nigerians among us especially those that don't know the importance of vote, rather they are after the one derica of rice that will be used to by their votes when election time comes.

Enough is enough and this time lots of enlightenment and awareness needs to be created on the essence of our votes so we can have one voice and vote in people that will reason with us.

This country has became a mess since the reign of the bad government, as times rolls, this country is growing in corruption day by day. There is no amount of persuades or preaching that can stop that from happening.
What we really need in this country is God intervention because the heart of our government has become the devil's dwelling and only God can help us out.
If the youths have known that this is how it will turn out, they might not carry out the protest, at least to save lives. They thought voicing out will solve the problem but seems it's making it worse.
They do say that those who want to engage in politics must not cold hearted. That is the case with our government. They will say for you to live, you have to kill. And that is not how it suppose to be, politic is being abuse in this country.
We just need total Reformation from above, that is all.
