A soldier of the Nigerian Army ,Lance Corporal Nwobodo Chinonso , shot dead the commander of the Forward Operating Base ( FOB) Rabah in Sokoto State, Lt. Sam Oladapo.
He also shot a Sergeant Major and a private soldier after he killed Oladapo.
After gunning down his army colleagues, Chinonso thereafter committed suicide by opening fire on himself.
When some credible military sources in Sokoto were contacted they could not ascertain the mental stability of the trigger- happy soldier.
A top military officer in Sokoto revealed that it was possible the soldier may have been battling operational and psychological stress and it was something that was common with military personnel although it was not a justification for any of the soldiers to go haywire .

Abeg o, we are all stressed in this country but his kind of stress needs medical attention. Take for instance, if it was at a battle field instead of facing the enemy, he then turn start facing his fellow soldiers.
Please it is best for all his family and friends to be interrogated to be able to find any of his habits that could have triggered such kind of occurrence.
