  Here is one recipe of mine that everyone should know, it is called chocolate pie.

   


Chocolate pie as the name implies , is crust covered with whipped cream and chocolate, it is so delicious and I think everyone should know about it too.


The ingredients are;
Whipped cream and shaved chocolate.

Chocolate crumb crust

Vanilla extract.

Egg yolks.

Brewed coffee.

Salt 

Corn starch.

Milk.

   Preparations;

1_mix your egg yolks, coffee and vanilla together.

2_heat your milk until it becomes hot, then mix your sugar, corn starch and salt in another bowl.

3_take half of the hot milk and mix it with the egg mixture until you achieve a smooth texture.

4_place it over the fire , with a low temperature and continue mixing until it becomes thick while it boils.


5_drop the mixture from the fire and mix it immediately with the chocolate until the chocolate melts in the hot mixture.

6_allow the mixture to cool down.

7_take your crumby crust and pour the mixture into it with your whipped cream and shaved chocolate poured on top.

8_place  a aluminium paper over your chocolate pie and place it in a fridge for about 3hours.

 Get ready to enjoy your meal, chocolate pie because of its cold nature can be enjoyed with hot tea.

    Meat pie is a baked dough that have meat filled in it.


  The ingredients are;
All purpose flour.
Baking powder.
Grounded beef.
Thyme.
Nutmeg.
Pepper.
Potatoes.
Carrots.
Corn starch.
Eggs.
Olive oil.
Onions.
Butter.
Sugar.
Salt.


  The method of preparation include;

1_pour your olive oil in a pan and then add your chopped onion,stir your onion till it become soft.


2_Add some pepper and your grounded beef and story them together.


3_Add your diced cooked potatoes to the mixture and stir them together.


4_Add your diced cooked  carrots and cornstarch and wait for 5 minutes stirring constantly before adding a little water.


5_Take a bowl and put your flour, sugar, nutmeg, baking powder, salt and mix them together.


6_Add butter to the mixture and mix the butter and the mixture together.


7_Add your egg and mix it too with the mixture until it is well mixed , then add cold water and mix it very well until it forms a dough, wrap the dough you have made with an aluminium paper and place it in a fridge for about 20-25 minutes.


8_Take the dough from the fridge and place it in a bowl, take a little piece of the dough and place  on the pie cutter , make the dough flat, and pour your meat fillings on it.


9_Use one side of the flattened dough to cover the other one.


10_place your raw pie in the oven with a temperature of 200 degree census , make it stay in the oven for as long as 20-30 minutes, till the pie becomes light brown on colour.



11-Take your meat pie out of the oven .

  Meat pie should be eaten hot and is enjoyed with a chilled soft drink.

HOW TO PREPARE A REFRESHING AND A THIRST QUENCHING DRINK:
Fruit drinks can be made from different types of fruit like oranges,lime,lemon, watermelon,lemon, pineapple, avocado, coconut etc.To sweeten them, you add syrup.

HOW TO PREPARE SUGAR SYRUP:
Granulated sugar-80g
Water-1 cup

PROCEDURE:
1-Get a clean sauce pan,and place the sugar in it.
2-Add water to it
3-Boil the mixture
4-Reduce the heat,try to make the syrup lightly thick by turning it with stick

ORANGE DRINK:
2 Oranges
Syrup to sweeten
cold water-about 280ml
STEPS-
1-Get the oranges and wash them well
2-In a cross-wise manner cut the oranges into two halves.
3-Sqeeze out the juice,if fruit juicer is available,use
4-Remove seeds by straining through a clean strainer
5-Add water and mix
6-Add sugar syrup to it and chill
7-pour drink into glass and serve

          The drink can be garnished with a slice of orange or lemon.

2-slice in any shape of your choice

For those who stay ina where they are little trees and bushes.

When rain falls, snails come out because they like the cold and they've been inside for a long time so they come out because they like cold places. snails are not just found in cold places they are also found under plantains trees and near decayed plants.

 Snail hunting is the process of going out look for snails preferably at night with torch lights and bowls to pack the snails or you can buy snails in the market but it is ecomical preferable to go and snail hunting.Because it is cheaper and saves the cost of buying in the market.

 How to prepare snail barbecue:

- Two bulbs of onions 
-Maggi and salt for seasoning 
-fresh pepper 

firstly you prepare the snail...there are two ways to do this.

1-You boil the snails and use sticks to remove it out or
2- you break the snail shell and you remove the snail from it shell. 

After removing the snails from their shells,you wash it and cut it in two halves then you wash it very well with water.

 Pour the snails into a bowl add Maggi and salt to taste.Then,get a stick and put the snails onion and pepper. get the charcoal burner and pleace the wire gauze over it. place the snail on the wire gauze.

 N.B little amount of heat is needed so the snail doesn't get burnt.Wait for 10 to 15 minutes.

After 10-15 minutes.Your barbecue is ready.

Ripe plantain pottage with chicken:


Ripe plantain gives iron and vitamins.While, chicken gives protein.

To prepare ripe plantain and pottage,the following ingredients are required: Ripe plantain (about four medium sized ones), chicken, onion,Maggi, pepper,palm oil and salt.


First,two cups of water are put to boil.
The plantain is washed,peeled and cut into small round pieces.This is then put into boiling water.While this is boiling,the chicken is washed and cut into small pieces,after which it is steamed.

The chicken is then added to the plantain and allowed to cook for about 10 minutes before palm oil, onion,maggi and salt are added.

The mixture is stirred and allowed to boil for another 10 minutes.

After this,the food is tasted to ensure that there is enough salt and pepper.
The plantain pottage is now ready and can be eaten anytime of the day.

I like plantain pottage with chicken because it is nutritious and delicious.

  I am back again with another delicious recipe, I think everyone should know, it is called ugu and okra soup, sounds delicious right?, Here we go!,

  
  Ingredients for the preparation of ugwu and okra  soup preparation are;
Ugu.
Okra.
Stock fish.
Smoked fish.
Crayfish.
Palm oil.
Cow skin.
Pepper.
Seasonings.

 Method of preparation;
1-first you season the beef, cow skin and stock fish together by steaming them , make sure enough sliced onions is added.

2-Pour your grated okra into the boiling pot of water and allow it to boil until it is half done.

3-Add your palmoil to the okra and grinded crayfish as well.

4-After waiting for like 3 minutes , add your steamed beef, stock fish and cow skin also know as ponmo to the boiling okra and wait for like 2 minutes.

5-Add your well washed sliced ugwu, grinded pepper and seasonings and mix very well.

6-Slightly cover your pot and allow soup to boil for like 5 minutes to ensure that the pumpkin leaves have been properly cooked.

7-Turn off the fire source and drop the soup.

  Ugu and okra soup can be served with ebar, semo, fufu, or pounded yam with chilled carbonated drink or juice.

It sounds really weird and disgusting but it's true.
When I saw it with my eyes I was amazed.

In a reality TV show I watched months ago, the show is like a discovery show . Like the chef gone wild on discovery family.

A chef leaves his hometown and goes around to the different parts of the world to taste different delicacies around the world.

He got to a part in Mexico and there he was given worms, grasshoppers and ants to eat. He went along with some men to hunt for these worms, grasshoppers and ants. in the rainforest.

They saw these creatures among the trees
When they were all done. They all went back to their home , a woman prepared them for the man.

At first, he did like he wanted to vomit, but he later ate it.
I'm so sure he won't feel so good later on.

He went back home to share these delicacies with his fellow chefs, they prepared it for their customers and they liked it.

The one I can say I've tried to eat before is grasshopper. There was a day , my sister caught a grasshopper. She roasted it, ate some and gave me some to eat. I summoned courage and ate it. And to be honest, it wasn't that bad after all.

How to prepare Okro and Egg Soup.

I know Okro and Egg might sound weird to most of you, but it is more delicious than it sounds
Okro and Egg is very rich in protein, vitamin and minerals making it very nutritiously delicious.

I'll list below the ingredients to prepare Okro and Egg soup.
You'll need
- Okro (10 - 15)
- fresh pepper(5)
- Maggi (2)
- Salt
- Egg(2)
- Meat or fish
- Cray fish
- Spices

PREPARATION
- Pour a cup of water inside the pot
- Leave to boil for 2 minutes
- Add Okro then leave to boil for 5 minutes
- Break the eggs in a bowl and whisk until the yolk is evenly mixed
- Add your fish or meat and leave to boil for 10 minutes
- Pour the egg inside
- Add the Cray fish , spices, 2 cubes of Maggi . Then sprinkle some salt
- Leave to boil for 2 minutes
- Prepare your eba/semo/ wheat

Your Okro and egg soup is ready. Enjoy!

firstly,get a cucumber
Cut the two edges of the cucumber.
then slice the middle and remove all the seeds
After removing the seeds, add mustard on one side and spread evenly.
Add mayonnaise inside on the other side and spread evenly.
Add roast beef and turkey.
Add ham
Add cheddar cheese
Close it all up
It's called a triple decker.

For the next one,
it's called Chocolate souffle
you'll need two eggs
Chocolate spread
pour the eggs in a bowl and whish until the yolk is mixed evenly
pour the chocolate spread inside the mixed egg
mix them all together
Pour it all in a cupcake and bake for 15 -17 minutes
serve alongside strawberries and a cold drink

For the next one
it's called blueberry Muffin
you'll need egg white
pour the egg white in a bowl
Add two tablespoons of honey
Add a quarter spoon of oat flour
add a quarter spoon of nutmeg
Add half table spoon of baking powder
Add blueberries
Mix them all
Microwave for 90 minutes


For the next one:
get hot dog (10 pieces)
cut quarterly
you'll need a cresent roll dough
cut a long slice and roll the hot dog inside
put them all into a frying pan
bake 15 - 20 minutes

How to cook rice perfect Everytime

Rice is such a staple food ingredient yet so many people fear cooking it. So many people say I don't know how to make it. It gets too sticky, it gets too burnt!
I'll tell you how to cook a perfect rice! So, get your pots and rice ready to go!
There's a few really simple tricks to get that perfect fluffy rice.
And I'll show you
The two most important things when cooking rice are timing and ratios.
If you cook it too short, it can be hard .
And if you cook it too long, it can be mushy and sticky and no one wants that.
And regards water ratios
If you have too much water,you'll have a really wet rice
And there's not enough water you can have a burnt rice.

For long grain white rice you'll use
1 cup of rice to two cups of water

For short grain white rice you'll use
1 cup of rice to 1¼ cup of water

For brown rice you'll use
1 cup of rice to 1 â…“ cups of water

Now to begin
Wash your rice with water
Some people wash their rice until the water becomes clear.
A good method is just washing it three times

Firstly, you'll add the rice
then the water
then let it begin to boil over high heat
when it begins to boil, add salt to taste
Stir a little bit and close the pot
After this, do not open the rice so that the heat needed to cook the rice will not escape

For white long rice - 15 minutes
For white short rice - 18 minutes
For brown rice - 45 minutes

Open the lid and leave to boil for a few more minutes.
Your rice is ready! Enjoy with your protein, beef or stew!

let's go one step further!

NB: Long white rice is usually the most famous rice everywhere. You can eat it like that or preferably with a protein or stew

Next dice your onions

Wash you rice 3 times

Add your rice

Stir evenly with the onion (you only need to do this for about 30 seconds)

Right now,you're just toasting the rice

Add some drops of cooking wine(totally optional,just for flavours)

Then you can also swap water for chicken water or beef water

Add a pinch of salt to taste
