I know this topic will kind of have a negative feeling or impact on the mind of members of this forum but we all are going to die someday, and we need to prepare for death because it can come at anytime. I Just read an article that gave me a lot of concern and I just want to put this to us as a question, Is it advisable to buy your coffin before you die if you have the money? considering the pressure of family and their selfish interest in some cases, where they want to reap from where they didn’t sow? So is it advisable to keep an account for a befitting burial maybe you liase with your bank manager alongside your lawyer and bring your family that’s nuclear family close and tell them the purpose of this account just in case you make them your next of kin and give them full authority to take charge of the account when you’re no more as a way for preparing for death, so dear members of Beneyoyo Forum, what’s your opinion on this topic and what’s the best way to prepare for death?

After reading this post. I just realized I began to laugh. Like it's funny when you are telling someone to prepare for death. It will look as if maybe the person want to die soon. Like someone just call his wife and children, telling them a particular account is for his burial arrangement when he's dead. Specifying the account. It could make his wife and children ask him question like... Daddy, are you dying soon? And before you know they will start crying. Thinking he was going to die soon. Hahahah....And that is when the man is very wealthy. But if it's a poor man telling his wife and children such thing. Not such very low class. Let's say a middle class man. You will hear question likes this from the wife and children.... "So, you have money in one bank account and we are here with no food? So, you have money somewhere and we are looking for money to complete the children school fees? Most especially when the children are in the university or polytechnic. And the wife will just add. Thank God say is your death you are preparing for. And that is how you..... You know.. Seriously. So, as for mine opinion. If you have money. Like you are really wealthy and your family are not lacking. You can have such account but don't let your family know not even your wife. Just explain to your lawyer and have it written in paper to the lawyer, so that when you grow old and die. The lawyer will read the statement you've made on that account to everyone. Cause if you tell your family. It might bring fear of loosing you soon. Especially the woman.. Anytime you go out to work and it's above your normal time of closing. She would start calling you to find out if you are fine. The fear of loosing you will always be on her mind. The children may understand you but the wife. I don't think she can.

And as for the buying of coffin. That is out of it. Totally out of it. It could get you into problem. Where do you want to keep the coffin? When people find out you have a coffin. Nobody will believe what you explain your coffin to be for. Not even in this country that there are lot of ritualists. and many Bollywood movies we view has always proven to us that coffin is used for rituals, burial cases are not much as ritual cases. Hahaha.... But seriously eh, it is somehow getting a coffin and putting. And I think coffins are not sold out anyhow. But if anyone has other opinion you can say it. But this is just my opinion.
