A 28-year-old Nigerian man was killed by police officers while he was sleeping.

The Nigerian Tribune reports that Nurudeen Quadri was killed on Wednesday in Osogbo, the capital of Osun, by policemen attached to the Provincial Police Anti-Cultural Squad.

The report revealed that the police entered Nurudeen's room at Jalan Jaleyemi at 14shock0 in front of his wife and six-month-old baby.

The six-month-old father is his mother's second child and only son.

He was shot in the chest and died on the spot when the police tried to kill him when they entered the room.

His father died a few years after he was born in Popo area of Osogbo, the capital of Osun state, a development that made him the leader of the family after his mother, Taibat Quadri.

Nurudeen signed up for an apprenticeship with fashion designer Oyetola Mumeen, who trained her. The deceased worked as a professional fashion designer in Og👎Oluwa area of Osogbo before leaving the shop due to rent hike.

Until his death on Wednesday, Nurudeen shared the same shop with his wife Mumeen, a fashion designer.

According to witnesses, masked officers broke into the 16-room building. A neighbor of Nurudeen told Tribune Nigeria that the police entered the house and forced their way into every room of the house while searching for the deceased.

His wife said her ex-husband had a phobia of the police because of various past abuses.

"After I killed him, he took the phone from me. After sunrise, we started visiting different hospitals and later we found Osogbo's body at the Uniosun Teaching Hospital where the police dumped it.

"We were told that Nurudi was not shot. They claimed he fell while running. "Also, Nuruddin's case was previously dismissed by the police. My husband has never visited the police station or gone to court in his life," she said.

Nurudeen Landlady, who identified herself as Mrs. Rashidat Ajibola, said: "They broke the entrance door and forced into every room. "When they knocked on my door, I was scared and started urinating on my body. The police said they were looking for Alowon, but he said there was no name, but Nurudin and I pointed to his room. They came with one handcuffed.

"When I opened the door and saw him, his wife and daughter, I heard 'fire.'"

Ms Ajibola said the police left the scene after the shooting but returned to retrieve the body.

"We just knew it was an anti-cult group with police officers and graffiti on their cars."

Nurudi's nephew, Islamiat Abubakar, told the Nigeria Tribune that the family saw the body of the deceased at the Uniosun Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, where the body was dumped by the police.

According to him, "The police protested against family members, pointed guns and threatened to shoot us. They even said they would put us in jail. Why did you come in the middle of the night to arrest someone? It is illegal," said Islamiyat Abubakar, the victim's nephew.

Nigerians are so tired of these sick men in black parading themselves as policemen.

Now he's gone , the law hardly brings any of them to book . Before you know it, they are back to their jobs as if nothing ever happened.

May they never come near us and ours in Jesus name.
**I love being me.**
