The Board of Trustees are to plan a meeting in rescue of Atiku's campaign.
This is to deliberate on issues raging the party concerning the removal or resignation of the party's National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.
Although Ayu enjoys the support of almost half of the members of the National Working Committee for now, some aggrieved governors of party have vowed not to have anything to do with the Presidential council unless Ayu is removed from office.
The governors include Nyesom Wike, Okezie Ikpeazu, Seyi Makinde, Samuel Ortom and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
The meeting of the BoT is scheduled to hold anytime this week so that campaigns for the 2023 elections can commence.
