Former President of Nigeria of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has said the oil and gas sector can no longer sustain the nation in the face of a growing and flourishing population.

He said this when he hosted the leadership of the apex soci👎 cultural group of the Tiv from Benue State, Mzough U Tiv ( MUT) at his Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library ( OOPL) penthouse in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, at the weekend.

He advised Nigerians to see the country as one for all in order to save it and restore to what God has created it to be.

The elder statesman also noted that only more farming and modernized agricultural businesses could solve the food needs of Nigeria's growing population.

In a statement by his Special Assistant on Media ,Kehinde Akinyemi, the former President and renowned farmer told the Tiv nationality that he supported the change of the country's leadership from North to the South while adding that the Middle Belt should call for rotational presidency.

He further warned that voting for candidates on the basis of emotions would be destructive.

Wow, Finally Nigerian’s Godfather as finally pronounced his choice on the election.
Come to think of it, Former President has it right this time. This oil of a thing, we Nigerians has high hope over the oil. We tend to forget that oil do finish. We need to upgrade, we need to be updated with the latest happenings in the world both good and bad.
Agriculture is our mother culture. Agriculture is a business that we inherit from our fore fathers and it’s quite lucrative.

We don’t acknowledge that, We all go for white collar jobs. We want to be doctors, lawyers, engineers slowly departing or forgetting our mother’s culture.
Agriculture can save Nigeria
