Recipes/Cooking » My fried plantain experience by: Queen(f) .:. Mon, 23 Jan, 2023 - 09:47:20:am GMT
So I first of all removed the good ones and then removed the others afterwards.
I did that because I felt it was better to have perfect and imperfect plantain in my plate rather than having all imperfect plantain.
If I had removed the ones getting burnt already, I would have had all impefect plantain.
So at the end I had perfect and imperfect plantain in my plate. I ate the burnt ones first then followed by the perfect ones.
If it was you, what would you have done.
Am waiting for your reply.
Thank you.

Frying is a process that needs a lot of patience because it can be stressful and if care is not taken it can lead to disaster. Frying plantain is even more delicate compared to frying other things and frying plantain requires your full attention; that is, it is not something you can just leave and start doing other things.
What I use to do when I wanted to fry plantain is I will cut the plantain into a big size which I know won't require me to strain myself in changing the position when the other side has fried. I will also make sure I lower the heat of the gas so that the plantain can fry properly.
It is also advisable to wear clothes that cover your body when frying because of the splashing of oil. You also need to keep off every distraction when frying to save yourself from burning any part of your body.
