The Italian Serie A 2020/2021 campaign, continues with lots of great matches going down today with many jaw dropping matches and entertaining encounters taking place tonight. Roma take on Crotone, Atalanta host Parma, Lazio entertain Fiorentina, Napoli play as host to Spezia. These are some of the matches going down tonight..

Crotone Cf, will look to get an opportunity to get a positive end result after 90minutes as they will be hosting the AS Roma club. It will be a difficult task to complete but they just have to be on the positive side, else they will secure a relegation spot for themselves. Roma on the other hand will have to win to maintain a good form as well as the 3rd position.
Lazio Blue Roma, play as the home team in their encounter against the Fiorentina Cf side later tonight. The home have had a great season and they have the greater advantage going into tonights match, but will the Away team be up to the task as they have not been on the bright side in their performance this season.
Napoli take on the Spezia Cf side in tonight game as they will be hosting them in the now renowned Diego Armando Maradona stadium, right there in Naples. This is a great mountain for the away side to overcome and will they be up for it. A win for the team in Naples will see them climb up the table once more...

Tonight will be a lively one especially for football fans all over the world because there are matches going down in Europe top five leagues and truly we get to see the best of the best do what they do best tonight.

In the serie A fixture, the one I will really like to talk about is the fixture between AC Milan and Juventus FC. Since the beginning of this season in Europe top five leagues, AC Milan still remains the only club yet to taste defeat and they have really shocked the football world with their performance this season. They are currently first on the table and will like to keep it that way after their match tonight. One sad thing is that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been out due to injury and reports also stated that he will miss tonights fixture against his former club juventus.

Juve on the other hand are currently in an unusual position that we know them not to be in the league table. They are currently 6th in the table with an outstanding game against Napoli at hand. Aside just defeating AC Milan tonight, they will also like to be the team to end the unbeaten run of AC Milan. They will be with star man, player of the century and one of the best player currently as far as the football world is concerned, the one and only Cristiano Ronaldo. He has been in great form since last season and in their first fixture of the year, he scored a brace to overtake Pele as the second all time highest goal scorer in the history of football. If he can score two more tonight, he will overtake Joseph Bican and become the highest goalscorer in the history of football. This guy just can't stop breaking and setting records.

Yes football this midweek, the round leather game just have a way of giving you something to be happy about. There were struggling, battling and very entertaining matches that went down throughout the weekend and they are at it again this midweek.
The game I am anticipating in the league cup is the Manchester derby, it takes me way back to the 2013 season where the rivalry began between these two sides, it was also a (caraba cup) game then in January and Carlos Tevez was just something else. I think this game will be very tough till the end, stories that has been buzzing around ole for some time is the number of penalty he has gotten since he took over the team in 2018, already this season he has gotten 11 penalty kicks in all competitions. This could just paint the mind of the referees ahead of the game and might want to be very sensitive to the game. But judging by the form these two sides are presently, we should be seeing a good football being played tonight.

The biggest one will happen at the san siro where Ac Milan will be taking on Juventus. Could this be the beginning of the the end for this Milan side who is yet to lose a game this season? If that would happen anytime I think juventus is the side to make it happen. With the scoring form of Ronaldo and the zlantan factor, I am anticipating a great great match tonight as well.

Another tie that might look difficult tonight is athletic Bilbao against Barcelona. Over years the athletic side has proven to be a high mountain for the top sides in Spain, you can't easily go pass them. Now that it is very glaring to everyone that Barcelona is no longer the old Barcelona, the whole team is like a stranger to itself, so you can't say confidently that they can come out of the match victorious. But then there is still messi who really needs mercy though, let's see if he still got some wonders, I read he had his worst shot ever in their last game.

Interesting ties everywhere and I can't just wait to watch these teams do their things..

@nagiano:

Another fixture that will be filled with drama tonight is the game between Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao, any point dropped by the Catalan giants tonight will see them go down the table.

Barcelona will be with star man and also the greatest rival of Cristiano Ronaldo as far as football is concerned, Lionel Messi and I believe he will want to do everything possible to make sure his team come out victorious tonight. He has had his clash with the club in the early stages of this season and I believe he has gotten over it and everything will be settled amicably by the end of the season.

Also, there will be a Manchester derby tonight, the Carabao cup semi final. The winner of this fixture will go on to play against Jose mourinho's men in the final of the competition. Last season, the semi final was also a Manchester derby but it was Pep Guardiola's city that progressed to the final and also went ahead to lift the trophy. The question now is that will Manchester city repeat what they did last season in this competition?
Only the end of 90 minutes tonight will answer that question.

As for Manchester United, they have not really been that spectacular but the results have been going their way. And I believe that they won't want city to defeat them again and progress to the final. The match will be a very tough fixture and might just be tagged final befor final.

Well, the games that went down yesterday were all breath taking including the League cups competitions that were in action last night. Manchester United losing at home to Manchester city by 2-0 was a featured game in England, Athletic Bilbao 2-3 Fc Barcelona was another brilliant game but in the Spanish Laliga Santander.

Other games went down in other domestic leagues in Europes top flight, in Italy, the Italian Serie A, as well as in France, The French Ligue 1.Paris Saint German were held to a draw in their game against the Saint Ethiene side.
Manchester united, were totally off par last night as they continued the poor form at home since the start of the season.
They were quite offensive in the first half having scored the first goal which was chopped off for an offside call, it was an own goal anyway, but the flag had gone up already. City also replied with two goals in the same half, which were chopped off as well for the same call, of an offside rule. That was how the first half ended.
The second was all about the Citizens, dominating the possession of the ball, as well as the thr attempts on goal, they kept coming and eventually a sloppy defending from the Red Devils gave the Blues of Manchester a deserving one goal lead and with few minutes remaining a thunderbolt from Fernandinho secured the win for the Citizens.

@Davidee7:

In Spain, the Spanish Laliga Santander, was active with the Catalican giants Fc Barcelona traveling to Athletic Bilbao in their New year fixture. The game was pretty much the most entertaining game in Spain last night as both sides had to fight back but it was the matter of who wanted it more and that was the traveling team, Fc Barcelona.
The home side were ahead in the opening minutes of the match through Inaki Williams the sole striker for the Athletic Bilbao side. Minutes later it was a turn around for the away side as they fought back with two goals coming from Pedri, and the star man Leo Messi, it was a 2-1 at half time in favor of the Catalican giants Fc Barcelona.
In the Second half, the Spanish Laliga Santander giants Fc Barcelona doubled their lead through the man of the match yet again Leo Messi after creating an assist for the equalizer and putting his side ahead, he then later, doubled their lead which was far enough to secure the 3points for them. Munain got a goal back for the home side in the latter stages of the match.
While in the Copa Del Rey competition, also in Spain , Athletico De Madrid were evened out of the competition by a lone goal, after receiving a red card in the first half, also Real Betis were 3-1 qualifiers, as well as Granada Cf. Osasuna Cf as well scaled through by a 3-0 margin win alongside Rayo Vallecano, and Espanyol.

In the Italian Serie A, there were lots of titanic matches that went down yesterday, even at night. The first matches were all wins for either teams, AS Roma were 3-1 winners away from home at Crotone, Lazio Blue Roma, were also 2-1 winners at home to Fiorentina Cf. Napoli were 2-1 losers at home to Spezia, Juventus Turin were 3-1 winners away from home.
Juventus Turin, had to win the league leaders AC Milan in order to get a chance to move up top the table other wise a defeat or a draw would seen them stuck at 4th. Winning last night encounter was a great deal for them, Chiesa getting on the score sheet for the Old ladies, Paulo Dybala was in an excellent level through the match alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
AS Roma, were also on a great form yesterday as they had to travel to Crotone Cf, to face a slightly difficult task against the Crotone team. But it was all a training practice for the Away side as they ran away with all 3points in the bag after the whole of the 90minutes had elapsed. It was a great match indeed. Inter Milan were 2-1 losers yet again yesterday at Sampdoria Cf.
Lazio Blue Roma, were on par at the peak of their great performance yesterday when they took on a struggling Fiorentina Cf side in their encounter yesterday with the club. It was an easy win for them. Napoli had to suffer a shocking defeat when they played against a slightly tough side in the the Serie A last night...

What a sad day for Solksjaer as Manchester United lost to Manchester city by 2 goals to nil in the semi finals of the carabao cup.

Goals from John Stone and Fernandinho in the 50th and the 83rd minute was enough to silence Manchester united.
At some point in time, the game looked one sided as Manchester city dominated the game throughout till the end of the match.
What a good way for the old ladies Juventus to start their hunt for the league title.
Defeating Acmilan at the Sansiro stadium by 3 goals to 1.
AC Milan were very dominant in the game despite the loss.
But they lack the cutting to bury their chances against Juventus.
Although AC Milan was able to silence Christiano Ronaldo in the match, but they gave room for Chiesa to roam freely in the game and he punished them severely by scoring a brace in that game.
On the other hand their neighbours Inter Milan lost away from him to samdoria by 2 goals to 1.

Today in the English Premier League 2020/2021 campaign, there will be a league leading position battle also a battle between two United teams, as well as a battle between two in form teams. Tomorrow will be a battle for survival for Brighton, as well as Fulham.

The first kick off of the Premier league fixtures today, will feature both United clubs, Sheffield United, The Blades, as the Home team, and the Newcastle United, The Magpies, as the traveling team. It will look like a smooth game but trust me it was won't be that easy for either of these clubs facing off today.
Burnley Fc, host second place Manchester united , as the second kick off of the today's matches, if Burnley Fc can hold United to a draw it will be easier for Liverpool to retake that spot at the top, but a win for The Red Devils, will make it harder for the Anfield Reds, to overcome as both sides meet after this match.
Manchester city, take on Brighton Hoves&Albion, in tomorrow games, as the first kick off of the day Manchester city will fancy themselves the better of the two sides and will look to get an easy win at home. But this is not just football its the English Premier league. So it will be difficult.
Due to the postponement of the Totheham Hot spurs game against Aston villa, because of the pandemic cases, the Spurs will have to take in a funny looking Fulham Fc side, traveling to the London stadium. The cottages, Fulham seems to have gotten a little grip on q good form roaming in the past fee games.. ..

@Davidee7:

There will be matches played also in the Spanish Laliga Santander, as well as in Italy, but in the Cola Italia competition. This definitely have a lot of featured matches which will bring those thrilling moments and jaw dropping expressions as the game s kicks off.
In the Spanish Laliga Santander 2020/2021 campaign, Athletico De Madrid will have to play as host to a fierce Sevilla Cf side tonight, after a postponed match against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday the Wanda Metropolitano team will have to go on ahead in to this game tonight as it ends today's games.
In the Copa Italia Competition, There will be three featured matches tomorrow but it kicks off tonight with a rematch of the weekend Serie A clash of the titans match which saw AC Milan defeat Torino in that encounter, now they meet again in the same stadium yet again, but this time in the Copa Italia Competition.
Napoli stay in Naples at the now renown Diego Armando Maradona stadium, as they welcome the traveling team, Empoli a former Serie A club. It looks surely like an easy win at home for the Naples club but looking at Empoli they might just shock the Fans in Naples with a win and a good goal record.
Juventus Turin take on Genoa at the Bianconnerri stadium, the Alianz Stadium. It will be a home game for the old ladies, but will the away club be up to the task. Fiorentina Cf host Inter Milan also in the Copa Italia Competition, but tomorrow, as the first kick off of the day.

The English Premier League resumed last night with jaw dropping fixtures and a league table decider as well. Sheffield United recorded their first win in The English Premier League, this season, after defeating poor Newcastle united in the first kick off of the night. Manchester united went to the top of the English Premier league table after a solo win over Burnley.

Newcastle united, have now gone 8 straight matches without a win in all competitions in England top flight football competitions. Sheffield United had to hang on to a VAR decision which needed up as the match decider of that game in the English Premier league matches which were played last night. Wolves had a tough game against Everton Fc.
Today Manchester city, will play as host to a Brighton Hoves&Albion team that had a pretty good start at the beginning of the 2020/2021 English Premier league campaign. The Citizens, have gone 4 straight matches without a loss and that would be a huge boost in the moral of the players going into tonights game.
Totheham Hotspurs take on a Fulham Fc side that have just begin to find a little bit of balance within the squad which has helped the players contribute to the recent good form the club has had in the past 4 matches. They still within the relegation zone but if they get a win at the London stadium they will move up out of the danger zone...
