A guy took to tweeter to narrate how his friend called off the wedding with his fiancee on the grounds that he didn't provide enough finance for their wedding .

The couple - to - be had already planned to relocate to the United Kingdom immediately after the wedding.

The fiance had to foot the wedding bills because his fiancee's family had financial issues.

At first he provided a little over #500,000 but his fiancee said it wasn't enough and that she wanted a society wedding. He made it up by increasing it to one million naira yet she still complained that it wasn't enough.

This prompted him to call off the wedding and relocate to the United Kingdom all by himself .

No one blamed the guy because he had done his complete best.

The typical Nigerian loves a flamboyant or glamorous wedding where they can impress people or show off.

Despite the economic situation of the country or the wickedness that prevails in humanity, some go all out to have a loud wedding.
Some have wedded with as much as 200 brides maid on their bridal train.

Only very few prefer quiet weddings for reasons known to them.

Well it depends on how you mean.
But for me , I like loud but not rawdy. With class and orderliness. Very intimate and special.

There's a whole lot to pen down as regards weddings. This story I read here about a guy calling for his wedding reminded me of the story my man of God once told us about a man that got married.

This man that called off his wedding behaved wisely if you asked me. The way the wife-t👎be was behaving already shows that she's the kind of wife that wouldn't mind her husband engaging in illegal stuff just to satisfy her.

So the story of my man of God goes thus; He said that this man got divorced not long after marriage. Divorced should've ended everything regarding the marriage to his spouse but the reverse was the case.

The man kept paying for wedding debts even after the divorce. The reason for this is that they borrowed money to do a wedding and in the end, it's the man who suffers it.

This is a lesson for us all, in fact, weddings or weddings, I just think it's wise not to put our hands in something that's beyond our control. Going ahead to borrow for a wedding is reaching after something that's beyond our control.

Anyone that wants a society wedding should start working hard to earn the money needed for that. Otherwise, everyone should cut their coat according to their size.

I don’t think the wedding is the loud or quiet type. Wedding do follow a normal procedure and don’t think in a typical wedding in church is categorized to be loud or quiet which is just eventually the joining of both parties.

I think the loud and quiet categories comes in place when you are talking about reception.

All and most wedding expenses are solely from the reception.
In just reception, you need to rent a hall, hire a DJ and prepare food and hire chef and all of that to get just to impress the guest and visitors that this couples are something and latter the couples then later dives in to the rivers of debt.

Well I prefer just a simple reception party, their is no sure thing as a quiet wedding as far as you invited your friends and family, it is no longer quiet.

If you have money, you can go for the loud wedding but don’t borrow money or stuffs to impress the guest who don’t care about you
