Careers/Employment/Vacancies » LEARNING A HANDWORK OR GOING TO SCHOOL by: Osaroju(m) .:. Sat, 13 Nov, 2021 - 08:19:20:am GMT
Which from the above two is best.
I am not disputing the authenticity of any of the above. However over the years, we have seen different people from various works of life who have made it having gone to school or despite having gone through school.
So it is to say that attaining some level of financial freedom and security does not solely depends on or have the criteria that one must have gotten a degree from a university.
So I wanna hear your thoughts on this. Since it is a known fact that it's doesn't it a stop on a person whether or not they went to school, which would be preferable and why.

The country situation is very bad everyone start to survive by themselves in one way or the other.
Going to school is no more encouraging because only the rich people children are been able to secure a good job, if you don't have a top politicians who will help you no way forward my brother.
After finishing from higher institution you will be seeking for job up and down it is very worst for females on till they sleep with you before getting a job.
I think learning hand work is the best now because of the country situation at least if you learn any hand work now even if it was feeding stuff I could afford for you it still part of it .

Both are very important learning hand work and going to school is very important these days , going to only is not advisable you see learning a hand work is more sources of advanyage.
As the world is now if you have hand work you will be of more benefits at least befor gaining an employement you can make use of the hand work and that is a source of employment for you.
Certificate can not be relied on , because no opportunities for jobin the country.

After graduation with a lot of stress from the tertiary institution you are not garentee to get a seceur job.
Therefore , the certificate you are holding can be useful for you in the nearest future , but some people have luck immediately they graduated from the university they were fortunate to get a good job but mind you that is not common.
Getting a good job in Nigeria is by connection and power , but with your hand work you can start something and live your life .
The two are important I will advise everyone reading this post to try and have one hand work.

Learning a trade and going to school? Both are important, irrespective of the situation in Nigeria! My advice and point of view will be to learn one or two trades alongside your education, but respective of the situation, one shouldn't be over prioritized. Regardless of what you studying and how useless you may think it is in the country.
Always weigh both on a balance scale and make sure they're of equal weight because life is full of surprises and you just might never tell!

I believe learning a trade would be better. Looking at the present situation of the country, you'll realise that if you decide to go to school, the possibility of getting a good job is very slim.
So what's the point of going to school when we've got nothing to show for it, or when we lack the ability to take care of our selves because we don't have money.

Well I think it depends on the individual as a whole.
One needs to be educated to a certain level but when your passion has nothing to do with the line of education , I don't there's any point trying to further your education.
But if what you aspire to achieve in life has a lot to do with schooling then I believe going to school is the best option for you.

Both of them are equally good because they have their advantages.
The good thing is that both of them can be acquired alongside depending on how you make your plans.
Whilst waiting for a job or applying for one, you can make something out of the handiwork you learnt.
Even when you've gotten a job,you can still continue being productive with your handiwork and work your way to greater prosperity.
I believe no knowledge is a waste.
Every experience you have will eventually come into play or become useful at some point in your life.
I also believe that no one is born useless. An individual only needs to try his hands on many things until he finds the one he operates best in.
We've all got our talents.

Education only can not solve our problems in Nigeria simply because its is Just an opportunity although if you are able to get a nice job that is good but until then you have to live and eat if you are a man provide for the family members including yourself.
Handwork is also an opportunity with time you will be free and you stand on your own , any little you get from your handwork you will know that at least something is coming in for you even if it is not up to what you need .
The two of them are the best way out these days .

Ultimately, the decision between learning a handwork or going to school depends on individual circumstances and goals. Some people may choose to do both, by pursuing a formal education while also learning a practical skill on the side. Ultimately, the key is to find something that you enjoy and that will help you achieve your goals, whether that means learning a handwork or pursuing a formal education.

Learning both hand work and going to school is a good thing every individual that wants to excel in life must have because life is not a one-way thing. Gone are those days when people would think they don't need handwork because they are currently doing their academic programs so they will be expecting a white-collar job. No! There's more!
We all need to understand that not all people will do a white-collar job because the space left can't accommodate all people and if everyone goes into white-collar jobs who will be sewing and selling stuff for others; So we need a balance. Not allowing people to make you feel that learning and handwork as a university student is a sham. no! All you need to know is how to package it to look presentable.
Learn to do both things with a focus and determine hearts. Also, you ain't have to limit your handwork, you can learn as much as possible just make sure you are good at what you do.
