What are the 5 secrets of defeating poverty?

The secrets to finding your way out of poverty are very simple but must be put into practice daily and with determination. They are as follows:

1: Acceptance: you have to accept your present condition and circumstance if you must move forward. Many people are living false lifestyles which they fund with loan from friends and relatives.

If you're one of such people, it will be difficult for you to beat poverty because every time you make money, you will end up spending it on funding and a fake lifestyle debt.

2. Live within Your means: Accepting that you're poor, will help change your mindset from a wannabe to someone that truly desire to change his condition.

This new mentality takes away shame and help you to live within your means. You no longer try to impress anyone but yourself. This helps you to have some savings for the future no matter how small.

3. Planning: Accepting your current state and living within your means provokes the desire for change. The desire to change to suffering and oppression you faced for being poor. To do this, you must put a place a plan for making more income.

You may consider learning a skill or getting a professional certification that can help you attract a better job or start up a business. So, your savings will work for you at this stage.

4. Prayer: in this clime, our battles are not just physical most of the time. We sometimes are faced with spiritual battles that we no nothing about. In such a case, your need a lot of prayers to support your work.

Spiritual battles aside, we all pray to God to bless the work of our hands and guide us in the right part. So, prayers can do wonders. Just make sure your prayers are backed with actions and by actions I mean.. work.

5. Implementation and Review: Make sure you implement your plans one step at a time. Never be in a hurry, for good things comes to those that are patient.

Make sure you do constant review to know if you're still on the right part. This will help you stay on track at all times.

In summary, poverty is not a permanent feature in the life of any man except he permits it. So, get up, dust your self and make a better plan for yourself.

This article is so much touching.
To be poor is not a crime no body in life won't to be poor.
But if you found yourself in such position hope for the better it will be good at the end.
Poverty is not a good thing poverty is a situational period it will come and go but you have to endure to the end and then you will smile later.

If someone is poor he or she can do things with are not good ,poverty triggers and individuals to think about his or her life situation.
If you are poor you won't fell comfortable among people if someone is poor he or she will fell depressed in the society.

Millions of people are poor living in poverty no one to help them and our government are not ready to render help to anyone .

I pity the children of those that are poor it usually land on the children at home ,they won't be able to have good education ,they wont be able to eat good food .
To be poor is not a crime that why you see that our hand are not equal .

If you have enough give some to the poor people in the society let the poor people be happy .

What an inspiring write up this is.

The society we live in has made a man look like a trash when he is poor.

But the truth is where there's life there hope.
All you just need to doo is to strategize, set appropriate goals for yourself and when things don't go as planned you have to keep restrategizing until things work out as planned.
There's always light at the end of the tunnel

Considering this topic and as it is in a form of a question, it says is it a crime to be poor? yes my response to this is it is not a crime to be poor and been poor is not a crime.
To me it is just like asking the question like is being rich a crime? being rich is neither a crime but being Rich can be a crime if someone gets his wealth in an unlawful manner or through an illegal way.
such person might acquire estate, treasures and all that through illegal means then that is not right so being poor is not a crime but it is advised or encouraged that a poor person does not give up his present predicament or situation rather the person in quote should keep on trying because as one try is in life there is hope that things will fall in place rather than giving up.
Just as it is being said and the scriptures that if a man falls seven times he will surely rise up again and this is a lesson that one can be poor but one should not give up in this present state and I want to cook will try because as it is been said that when there is life there is hope so there is hope that a poor person today can become rich on very well day tomorrow so no situation is permanent.
Just as it is being said a full man just needs to strategize and restarted guys and in some ways find favour from someone that would help him sometimes just a connection or a contact that is needed and his story will change for good so this is my real and contribution to this topic thank you very much for coming up with it.

Being poor is a crime in this part of the world most especially from the male gender perspective.
The society we live in has made poor men look like trash when they have nothing.
Alot of ladies define real men as men with wealths and investments.
Although I'm not in support of what the society thinks, but it is enough reason to work harder.
As men so as to make a difference......

There's nothing wrong with being poor but there's something wrong with being comfortable and stagnant..

As this would limit you from achieving success.

It depend on what you want to define it by ,first what does it mean to be poor. When some one is poor it you can not take care of your needs and take of your family's needs as well .

In the bible Jesus was rich but became poor so we might be rich ,when he die for us . now in the bible way you are rich in him . So yes in the bible way it a crime to be poor ,because Jesus already die for you,he gave you his place so might take is place in him.

Normally it be poor it not a crime but I don't think anyone want to be poor in this life that we live in now . Because every thing in this life required money now . so now if you don't have money how are you going to do it ,so that why we need money .

Even in the bible it talk about money ,it say that money answer all thing .so you see that having Money I so important because without it you are useless to the world and to your family and even to your self ,cause you wouldn't be able to contribute any thing to the society development.

Majority listed here can not work in Nigeria. Nigeria government is a virus to it's inhabitants of should I say Nigerian leaders. Look at what is happening, people with talent and gifts are becoming hopeless because of the inability of the government to set the basics of life. How can someone who is trying to survive think of following those points you mentioned?

It is a crime to be poor in the country we live in, most especially for men.
A poor has no right to anything most especially when he's faced with an issue with a rich man.
Even when he's right, he's still regarded as being wrong.
Even though it is not right, but that is the kind of society that we find ourselves in.

@Jackson2: You're right about that.
Money answereth all things, when a man is poor he's of less importance to his friends, siblings and even the society he lives in.

Even when he's right, people would think he's wrong.
That is the kind of society we find ourselves in.
That is why we need to work very hard in order to upgrade our status.
