Judging by the current situation in some countries of the world, some people would either prefer to retain their country's citizenship or renounce it.
In the years past, it was a delight for foreigners to come on tours to Nigeria.
They still come but it can't be compared to what it was .
If we had a lot of people trooping into the country in times past, then there must have been some things that attracted them just like honey attracts bees .
I read of a Nollywood male celebrity on social media who showed off his relocation to the USA .
In fact, he made it clear that he had left the country and his children for his wife to take care of them.
He also vowed not to step into Nigeria again and that if we ever saw him in the country, we should bill him.
Even those whom you think are living large in Nigeria today are the ones running out as fast as they can.
Sometimes, I ask myself, isn't there something to still keep many people back in the country?
Don't you have something to look out for in the country?
To others, jettisoning out of the country is more profitable so when you make your money out there ,you can only come back to spend it here
There are still many who believe that east ,west, north and south, home is the best because whichever country you are in, you'll always be regarded as a second class citizen.
In all, would you renounce your country's citizenship if you had a choice?

Well that is an interesting question. I think the answer is based on the mindset. We all want to born into a wealthy family. Just take a moment and think of Nigerian's billionaires family who travels to other countries fluctuating their apartment just to get validation from other persons, no they don't. They have a different mindsets from the rest persons who just made it and decided to move to other country forever.
Yes, Nigeria is totally fucked up but that doesn't mean that other country don't have their own issues. Surviving in Nigeria is easier than most countries because things are well cheap here in comparison with other countries. So renounce Nigerian's citizenship based on hardship isn't really something to consider.

Oh no! I can't renounce my citizenship because every country has its problems, just that levels of such problems are not the same. It's high time we need to value our country and think of a way of bringing beauty to the country.
Don't allow people to corrupt your mentality with something negative; this is because when you filled your thoughts with negative words you become used to such and that can affect your lifestyle so stay clear of such thoughts.
Fill your life with positive words and allow your life to be guided with positivity. Learn to look beyond the present situation and never allow the present situation to weigh you down; there's light at the end of the tunnel so don't give up.

This is a very critical question that needs individual sincerity. Looking at the current state of the country (Nigeria) it is easy to say you will renounce your country. Although many people will not renounce it, I can say that many people did that indirectly when they became a candidate for Japa.
As I said above the decision is a personal decision that needs the individual to decide based on his or her mind but such a decision should not be taken due to the current state because this season will pass; God will make our country a better place that will be full of glory.
It's important to know that every country has its problem the is battling with; our own is obvious because we are in the system. Instead of murmuring, let's pray for our country and vote right in this coming election.

Nigeria is not a conducive country for living the hardship is too much to bear that is why everyone are running to another country.
If I also get the opportunity I will leave Nigeria and never come back again.
