Money is very important for our everyday living, without money we cannot really live. So, money is good, the problem is - having money without GOD. 

King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 10:19b "... money answers all things" but he later realized that having this money without GOD is absolutely vanity upon vanity (Eccl. 12:8) and that was why he further concluded in Ecclesiastes 12:13

"Let us now hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear GOD, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."

Don't take money above GOD. Most people just because they want to make money - they will stop going to the Church or even become Sunday Christians. They won't have time for personal devotion with GOD or with their families and when asked, they always  say,"I've been busy with work, no time". 

They've derailed from the The Way (John 14:6) to other ways because of money. Little wonder, Jesus said it's is still possible for a camel to pass through the needle's eye than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of GOD. Wow! 

Getting money is not the issue now but worshipping money as if it's your maker is a sin. "That shall not worship any other gods aside Me" 

Money has become a god to people - they worship it and do anything just to get it. 

When I came across this verse in Proverbs, I didn't understand what the writer was trying to communicate at first but now I think I understand. Proverbs 30:8b says:

"...  give me neither poverty nor riches - feed me with food convenient for me".

And he further explained the reason in verse 9:

"Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor and steal, and take the name of my GOD I'm vain."

When one is poor, he will devise evil means to get money and when one is too rich, he will become lofty and proud.

The prayer is that we should ask GOD to give us the wealth that will be convenient for us, so we will not sin.

Actually you are right, money can pay for healthy living. Contrary to what most people believe, wealthy people can bargain for good health with the money they have. If you are poor you would not be able to live the kind of like you desire, and of course, you won't have the means to do things that can boost your health. Poverty is bad o, if you can, avoid it by all means. It incapacitates you in every way not just healthwise. 

Hmmm! Amazing insight we all exhibited. So true that the need for money cannot be overemphasised. However, I would like to spread my tentacles a little bit adding to all you've rightly suggested. I would always say the motive behind why we do things matters a lot I fact not the works that are judged even if they would pass through fire but the very intent of the works. When money is loved more than God, then it become an idol. Infact, it's not just money alone.If you do have money, yes you claim you do not love it, all needs and want are met Hun which is absolutely fine but your motives are all wrong then double check your claim again because the worse destruct of self is lying to oneself. Some things creeps in that we do not even notice because they are subtle and insignificant. Even in the need for normal and healthy living, if intent aren't properly checked, then we aren't better than the rich man who thought to extend his barn for more storage. Most people who turned away sorrowfully where people who couldn't extend their arms a little just because of intent.

@Ninoevans:Let me quickly clarify something here quickly.

In everything's as this life attain money is involve,there is nothing in this life that doesn't require money.Either directly or indirectly money is essential in every human being if they wanna live a very peaceful and meaningful life.

You don't love money, you need it? Hmmmm, that's tricky. What's there not to love about money? The fact you can afford what you want when you want or the fact you can achieve much more when you have money is enough to be in love with money. The bible states, money answereth all things so it's needful.

Money commands respect in the society cause people respects people who have money. But not having money will expose people to emotional and psychological stress. They will find it difficult to do the simplest thing cause they have no money. Thses people who don't have money later resolve to do whatever it takes to get money. They don't care whether it is legal or not, all they want is money.

Money is the source of a man's happiness.
The quest to make money is the basis of a lot of things like the reason behind going to school, the reason behind learning a skill etc.
There's nothing wrong in working hard to make money,
But when one is so obsessed about making money by all means, then it is a problem.

According to the bible the love of money is evil but can anyone come out and say he or she did not like money,no one can say that .
Those that have money are the one who lives a good life in the country , Ho lord I need money bless me with billions of dollars.

Hmm, Money is good but how do you control it that it doesn't control you. They say that money is the root of all evil buy is still money that people use for there day to day trading with different commodities. My questions are , how do you keep yourself from being controlled by money, if money is controlling you how do to stop it, what method is best for looking for Money that it will not look so much that your desperate with it or obsessed with it.

Money is very important, I don't see life without money, if you don't have money you will see that you are a shadow of yourself, you will never be happy, you are unable, but when you have money even your joy is full.
But the problem here is the love of it, when you let it control you, it becomes evil; this is because you can do anything both evil things to get it. money is not evil it the human being that love it that is evil.
it is important that we control money not allow money to control us. money must be use the right way and for the right purpose. if you can choose to do the right thing over money then you are in control of money. Indeed I want money but I don't love it if you get what I mean.
