Careers/Employment/Vacancies » How to Handle Delay by: A_bFonte(m) .:. Mon, 06 Mar, 2023 - 10:13:51:pm GMT
Delaying a decision or action is often seen as a negative thing in our fast-paced world, where every second counts. However, the truth is that delay can sometimes save your life. Acting impulsively in some situations can lead to dire consequences.

Delaying a decision can give you time to gather information, weigh your options, and make a more informed choice. It can also help you think more rationally, especially in high-stress situations. Delaying gratification can also lead to better outcomes in the long run. It's tempting to give in to our impulses and indulge in immediate gratification, but choosing to save money instead of spending it frivolously can lead to financial stability in the future.

Delay can also be a powerful tool in conflict resolution. When faced with a disagreement or argument, taking a moment to delay your response can give you time to cool down and think more clearly. It can also give the other person time to reflect on their position and possibly come to a compromise.

However, it's important to note that delaying a decision or action is not always the right choice. In some situations, immediate action is necessary, such as in a fire or other emergency. It's essential to know when the delay is appropriate and when it's not.

In conclusion, delaying a decision or action is often seen as a negative thing, but it can sometimes save your life. Assessing a situation, gathering information, and thinking more rationally can lead to better outcomes. Delay can also be a powerful tool for success and survival. However, it's important to know when the delay is appropriate and when it's not.

Before talking about how to handle delays, let me quickly give us this confidence that a delay is not a denial, so don't allow people's opinions about your delay to make you feel you will be denied.

At every point in time, we all have suffered delay, and though it might not be obvious or direct I can say each individual has experienced delay before.

The first step in handling delay is to not be pressurized by others around you; you see there will be a lot of pressure in life. It might not be you but comparing yourself with others will bring pressure.

Another thing is that we need to familiarize ourselves with God's word. No one can help you in such a moment aside from God and his words because in his words we receive help and strength for our day-t👎day battles.

**Always put God first **
