What an experience. Well whether you like it or not you are in Nigeria and you must give them what they need because fans here will prefer to relate with you for what they know. She had an ugly experience and now it is making way for her her because she changed. I believe now songs she is doing are mind blowing and of great impact to the fans because she is now a star. That is exactly what Nigerias wanted from her. Let her keep shining and continue to do more songs that the society can relate with and know her for it. People love her now and are ready to do anything to see her and hear her perform on stage. She is a good singer and she really prove to Nigerias that she has gone to the other side of the world and has seen and gotten what it takes to make us proud. We love you and we love your songs. Keep doing great works for us. You are good.

Why will you just be a celebrity and be singing only songs in English Nigerians love our culture and wanna feel your vibes they love your originality, I dont get it why celebrities of nowadays like to copy other people culture, by that I mean the foreigners culture and their way of music, we should use our style to affect the world thats why I love flavor techno and olamide they will speak the language and are proud of it, if people cant accept you for who you are it means they are fake and if you try to change to please people, it means youre fake, so always promote Nigeria with your songs!!!

Thank God she decided to take another step of faith. If it has been some people, they will stop singing from that very moment.

We were Africans first before colonization made us want to do everything like the western world.

Every artiste needs to get connected with their target audience.
So it's necessary to launch yourself with what people can relate with.
I have also noticed that every artiste has their kind of fans or supporters no matter what the artiste brings to the entertainment or talent table .

There's a lot to learn from her story. I'm sorry she was been embarrassed that way. One of the things I'm teaching myself not to forget is where I come from.
I want to go to the ends of the world, I want to learn as many languages as I can learn. However, I must never forget where I come from, I must never forget my language.
That is called being loyal to one's culture. As I'm writing this, I just remember that whenever I'm in school and mum calls, she'll always tell me in Yoruba dialect "Never forget the house you're coming from".
I didn't pay attention to it at first but these days, I'm starting to pay attention to it. I can say that it has saved me from being involved with things that are not so healthy for me. I just have to remember her words.
When I meet someone who prefers to communicate in Yoruba, I am glad to change my language. This helps me to be reminded of who I am, and where I came from.
Also, it helps me not to forget how to speak my language. Therefore I admonish us all not to forget who we are, and where we came from, it matters a lot.
