Oftentimes, there are those who find themselves in situations that they think require immediate divine intervention, and then begin to pray. However, they soon become panicky when nothing seems to change. This happens more when the issues are particularly time sensitive the deadline is imminent, yet nothing has changed. When you in that kind of a situation, don't panic or get into a frenzy be patient. Faith and patience may seem like two opposites, but they work together. There a purpose for the trying of your faith it patience. Sometimes, those things you expect or desire to happen quickly don't happen for one reason: lack of patience. You've got to learn the power of patience in your faith. While you're expressing faith, you must also demonstrate patience. you don't need to be in a hurry don't get agitated. Too many people get fretful and even become angry when they face challenges, and by so doing, they miss Gods plan. Challenges are a blessing they're the springboard for your promotion. Jesus said, These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer I have overcome the world. So, if you're in the world, there'll be tribulations there'll be troubles. But just because there are problems doesn't mean you're defeated. Be in charge and in control. Faith is patient, confident, and never ruffled when tried rather, its unperturbed. The trial of your faith is much more precious than gold. Just as gold glitters when its refined by fire, even so should your faith be stronger and ardent, no matter what happens. So, refuse to fret, because irrespective of the trouble, were more than conquerors. Glory to God!

Have patience. Having patients is a good ways to approach things. It is good when you have patience, even an adage say that a patient dog eat the fatest bone, in any where we find our self we need to behave patients, a wife who do not have patience will end up loosing her marriage. Patients is one of the most paramount things that we have to inculcate in to our life's, a husband who do not have patience also will end up loossing his home. Even when matter arise you need patients to settle it, the rewards of patients is very good. But there are some people when ever they find thee self in any situation the next thing that comes to their mind is how to manipulate things quickly and get away with it, but not knowing that they need to have patience and understanding, patience yield a positive results , although trouble will occur to us and this can happen from any Angeles but still need to be patient and calm to settle things and I believe that with God almighty and our patients all things will be possible . Thanks

Patience is a good virtue. A saying goes 'The patient dog eats the fattest bone'. This means that when you don't rush things, at the set time, things happen. However, patience isn't synonymous with stupidity. Many people often think that, because one shows patience at all times, means the person doesn't know what he or she is doing. As Christians, patience is one of thefruit of the Spirit that weshould have and we should earnestly prayforh. There are various examples of people in the Bible who were patient and got what they requested for. Abraham didn't have any child till be over hundred but God kept promising him that before he leaves the earth, he'll have a son. Not just any son, but a blessed one. He didn't grumble and waited patiently and got what he wanted. Same thing with Hannah, she badly wanted a child, and a child she got. I was made to understand from a passage in the Bible that patience isn't only just about the waiting, but what you also do when waiting. Now the two questions here are: Are you patient enough? and What do you do while waiting? Remember: patience has its reward.

Patience is an inherent quality of the recreated human spirit. Its the ability to be unswerving or undeterred from your deliberate purpose and faith, even by the greatest of trails. I like to term it "staying power" or " stick ability". This is akin to the Greek word "hupomone, " which means patience or endurance. Its the ability to stick with something to the very end, despite staggering opposition, to hold on to what you believe in spite of the pressure the devil, your circumstance or even your mind may pile against you. Some people give up at the slightest sign of trouble and that's the reason for their failure, but you have to learn to endure situation that try your faith. God wants you to lavishly sponsor your faith with patience (as well as virtue, knowledge, temperance, godliness, brotherly kindness and love). In other words even though patience is already in you, you must draw it out and "add" it to your faith. When you add your patience to your faith you don't need to struggle for anything anymore, because you'll be positioned in the place where God planned for you to be and be the man or woman he designed you to be. So get into the word and build your life with patience. Put that staying power in you to work and let your endurance be mixed with faith to create for you a highly productive and Victorious life.

Patience according to English to English dictionary means good-natured tolerance of delay or incompetence. Life's challenges are inevitable. People face challenges, both the good, bad and ugly but the fact you are facing challenges today doesn't means you should give up. Be patient.

I will like my own patience to 'waiting on God'

They say the patient dog eats the fattest bone and I absolutely believe. No matter the toughness of the situation,as long as God is with you, nothing is over until God says it is. God is in your situation.

When you allow things to happen before its time comes due to your anxiousness it may end up really bad. But waiting for the perfect time(patience) makes it more realistic.

Patience may be very hard to bear. You will feel like giving up, please do not! God sees your patience and He is preparing a better end for you, so just keep holding on to Him.

Don't envy people during your waiting people. The people you are envying must have done it through dubious means. Just rely on God alone, put your trust in Him and keep on praying . Believe troubles don't last forever. God's time is the best!

Life's full stops are God's commas.

One thing every human should have is Patience. As humans we should always be patient with everything we do both in our academics, when we need something from God.

Patience is one of the attributes God wants us to possess, not being patient has pushed some people to inhumane acts that shouldn't be heard of. There's an adage that says "The Patient Dog Eats The Fattest bone", when we are patient with certain things in life we would surely laugh best.

Life is a race with different hurdles, one of the important ingredient to win a race is to be patient.

Everyone aspires to be great in life but not are willing to stand the test that comes with it, we all want a swift and remarkable success as human. The ability to withstand the pressure, discomfort, challenges, criticism, and set backs, that is what patient means
Even when it seems like your hard work isn't having an instant reward, the ability to believe and still hold on firmly that it will someday be rewarded is what is called patient.
I will like to use the analogy of joseph as my reference, joseph was one with gift of dreams, from his tender age he had started seeing the picture of his future through dreams, his siblings would even look down on him because he was the last born and also his father's favourite. Joseph wasn't deterred by his siblings opinions and criticism, each time he dreams he never holds back, he still went ahead to tell his siblings and father about it despite knowing they were not entirely in tune with such dreams.
They envied him to the point that he was sold to a strange land in Egypt, joseph served in Egypt as a slave yet he was still patient and had the believe someday his dream will be reality. The toughest challenge he was faced with was when his master's wife tried to forcefully sleep with him, he fled and bare the punishment for what he knew nothing of, the worst thing happened which was his relegation to the prison, at this point we would feel his chances of bringing his dream to fruition has been dashed.
Joseph was never deterred by all this circumstances he braced himself and still kept on doing what he knows best which was interpreting dreams, eventually his gifts paved way for him to becoming the prime minister minister, his relentless efforts and patience paid him at the very end. Your best may not have yielded any rewards but patience is all that is needed.
Patience is likewise one of the fruit of the spirit, as a child of God the most high, we should brace up because we will definitely face challenges on this narrow path that leads to life eternal, it is vital we bare the fruit of patience.

Thing requiring our patient to be tested will always happen and if we are not careful we lose our patient and most times regret afterward.let take some examples of situations involving patience

1)mostly, people lose their patience after praying to God to help them in particular situations and then they find out that it seems to delay and God is not doing what they expect as a result they become easily angry and decide to look for another way to get what they need or to find solution to the problem before them. this happen in in most cases as mentioned earlier and some people feel that God does not care, but for me no matter the problem we have, no matter the situation we find ourselves in God always cares for us .it may only delay but it will never be late.
2) another situation is when our parents try to imitate God and when we ask them for something instead of giving us immediately they tell us I'll give you later not now and if we are not careful as well, we begin to feel that when has mum or has Dad starts to behave this way and we try to ask other people outside for these things eventually they may give us but it always cost us something, we should always be careful because no matter what an individual gives us he /she will always ask for something in return one way or the other.
But when we are patient enough we will always receive the lasting benefits and reward that comes from God which is better and far more exceeds any other benefits or blessings that any person may offer to us.

Patience, they say, is a virtue. The
essence of patience cannot be underestimated in the life a child of God.

It is not enough to just receive the promises of God for our lives, an extra virtue, patience is absolutely needed.

For every promises of God concerning our lives, there is a season attached to it, a particular timing which we must not miss!

There were times in my life where, very clearly, I heard certain prophecies concerning my life from the lord. And then I expect it to just happen suddenly, like immediately. But then, I wait and wait and linger for it, but then, it wouldn't come. And just when I have forgotten about it, the answer suddenly comes. Now, what am I trying to point out,our GOD is a king , and he does what he wills, and he wills. The earlier we understood this, the better for us.

Many times we tend to rush into certain decisions, ahead of God's timing for us, but the consequence is that we either get injured before our fulfillment or we even abort them before their fulfillment.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 clearly states it that though the vision tarries, we should patiently wait for it, it would come.

It takes man of patience to fully attain the height God expects us to reah.

So I encourage you brethren , whatever it is that is worth it, be patient , if it is yours, it would come your way.

Although to have patience is not easy but you have to its pays a lot to have patience don't be in an hurry take your time to think about things before taking any actions, but the major problem about some who has patience is that people think if you are having patience you are a fool don't mind them you are not a fool they have forgotten that there is a reason why you have patience.

Another thing is that in having patience don't allow people to moless your know your warth as a person I am going to share an experienced with you here my brother travel last upper month he went on an assignment with some of his colleagues which female are also part of them from his working place immediately when they got there they Lodge in a hotel in getting to the hotel someone who recognize my brother saw him but my brother did not know immediately that person called his wife and inform her that she saw her husband in an hotel with some people, fortunately when my brother got back home her wife doesn't allow him to talk and Started shouting on him and called him different types of bad names even she is ready to fight him, not knowing he was in the hotel with his colleagues at the office for an assignment.

Your tendency to wait calmly when faced with frustration shows your level of patience. To attain a high level to need to practice it. Patience is essential to daily life and might be key to a happy one.
We can practice the virtue "patience" at home with our kids, at work with our colleagues, patience can make the difference between annoyance and equanimity, between worry and tranquility. Good things come to those who wait
Patient people enjoy better mental health, they tend to experience less depression and negative emotions, perhaps because they can cope better with upsetting or stressful situations. They also rate themselves as more mindful and feel more gratitude, more connection to mankind and to the universe, and a greater sense of abundance.
When you posses the virtue patience achieving your goals becomes very easy. Feeling impatient is not just an automatic emotional response it involves conscious thoughts and beliefs, too.
One of the ways of developing patience is by practicing the act of feeling grateful. If we're thankful for what we have today, we're not desperate for more stuff or better circumstances immediately. It develops our level of patience.
We can try to shelter ourselves from frustration and adversity, but they come with the territory of being human. Practicing patience in everyday situations will not only make life more pleasant in the present, but might also help pave the way for a more satisfying and successful future.

Patience is what build our capacity in God. We live in a world that has different situations and this situation either requires speedy divine intervention or patience but many people want to have a speedy encounter whereas things are not done that way.

Life is a step by step process and the only way to succeed is by taking life with ease if not you will end up disappointed. There are many people in the bible that patience has really worked for and patience bring them their greatest testimony.

The life of Job is one good example. He lost all he had and become so wretch but yet Job had patience with God simply because he knows God will never do evil probably it might be test of time and to the glory of God he overcame. But many people nowadays just want to enjoy and they've forgotten that life has different phases and our utter most prayer is to successfully pass through all phases.

The story of Ruth and her Mother in law also talks about patience. Ruth mother in-law lost everything including her husband and her two sons. The grief was so much that when she got back to her hometown and they called her "NAOMI" instantly she told them to call her "MARA" because she thought the lord has death with her bitterly but it's a blessing in disguise. Ruth stood by her and she was very patient with her despite the fact that she was not from her town but God blessed her mightly because of her patience.

Furthermore, patience doesn't work only. It needs to be combine with some other attributes if truly you want to get your testimony. When you are waiting patiently on thy Lord, make sure you also allow the spirit of Faith, endurance and tolerance to dominate inside of you. These attributes helps to boast the sprit of patience.

Finally, don't allow the situation you are facing define your God instead always know that circumstances doesn't change the personality of God.

Patient means constant in pursuit, physically able to suffer or bear(from the dictionary.
Patient is an essential value that everyone must have as life is not a bed of roses, an adage says a patient dog eats the fattest bone
The apostles patiently waited for the outpouring of the Holyghost as it was promised by the Lord Jesus himself (Acts2:1-5).whatever you desire in life is worth waiting for.
A waiting time is not a wasted time, you wait to get the best(Habakuk 2:3)----"For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it Shall speak and not liethough it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come.

As children of God we should always exercise patient, even when we pray, we should be patient enough to hear from God before rushing out of His presence and before making decisions by ourselves. 2peter1:5-10, verses 6 says "and to knowledge temperance , and to temperance patience and to patience godliness.
For Sarah(Abraham's wife) the promise was too prolonged/delayed, therefore she decided to cut corner, and the consequences is still speaking till today ( Ishmael-Muslim descendants).
In the case of Hannah she patiently waited upon the Lord, God answered her at the appointed time when the nation would need a prophet (1samuel1:1-28).
God went further in rewarding her patience by giving her more children (1samuel2:21) "and the Lord visited Hannah so that she conceived and bare three sons and two daughters.....
That sounds good and great because she waited Patiently on the Lord, her mate's (peninnah ) children name were never heard throughout in the Bible.

Having patience, in all you do, is one of the best help, and good thing, you can ever do to help yourself, to get the kind of result you desired. Patience really matter's a lot, in ones life, and approach to anything in life. If we sit down and check, all those that achieved, there destiny and reached there goals, or does great things in life, they are all man of patience.
We all need to understand and study, how to master, patient, because, there is a great mystery behind it.

While having patience in approach to life, there are lessons, wisdoms, that are meant to be gained, while doing this. Believe me, with patience, one can achieve, what others fails or thoughts, it in impossible to achieve.
For example, the Bulb light, that was made 2000 years ago, it took a lot of patience, before it could come to existence, many challenges and trials, difficulties and obstacles, happened, to distract and stop him, but he resisted and was patience enough, and he got the result he desired.

With patience Abraham and Sarah have Isaac, for many years of patients, the Bible says, they where both striking in age.
Patience really matter's.

Patience is a fruit of the spirit (long-suffering).It is the ability to be patient (To stay calm when facing challenges).

Remember,Jesus did not begin his public ministry until he was thirty! Our savior, our Christ Jesus, the master teacher stayed with his earthly father Joseph until he was thirty, almost the end of his life.Jesus was patient.Be like Jesus too.

Patience is also one of the attribute of a true artist. As an artist,I have to be patient in drawing, from the lines to the shading,it all takes patience.I noticed drawing with patience brings beautiful drawings.

Like they say..."the patient dog eat the fattest bone".A patient person will get good things in the end.

Don't race ahead of God,give Him control of your life and be patient with Him.Be patient and don't peer anxiously into the future. He will take care of your future.God is working behind the scenes. He wants you to be patient, what you need in life will come at the right time.Is it success, money,a good job, that good man or woman for your relationship? He will work it out at his time.Remember, God's timing is perfect and He doesn't make mistakes. He will give you the good things you want in life at the right time. You just need to be patient and put your trust in God.

Have patience.Allow God to work out His will in His own way.Trust in God's goodness and faithfulness as you wait for His answers to your prayers.

Patience is hard but it has a reward.
Patience is not always too much rather may not be enough.
No doubt about that, human beings are so impatient, not only n prayers alone. We can't afford to give enough time to our success, we give up easily, that is human being for you.
Inorder to reach out promise Land, we have to incocate the habit of having patience.
If we look at the story of the richest man in Africa(Dangote), you will know what a patience is. He spent good 35years planning his business, he once worked for his elder brother who gave him money to start his business.
People were mocking him when he started using sachet of pure water to hawk cement. That time people don't use cement, they never even heard of it. So with that, he waited patiently to his plan to yield result, inrespective of the time it will cost him.
So, if he can believe in what he created himself, how much more God that created him.

We normally do this mistake when praying, we do give God a deadline to our answer or the particular date we want him to answer us, is God your servant??. So when the it now exceed the time, you now start to loose your patient and believe in the existence of Almighty God.
God is not a magician, he does things accordingly without flaws.
Rekindle your patience in prayers.
Pray in the right way and leave the rest to God.

The patient dog they say eats the fattest bone. This can be interpreted that to the person that exercises patience, a better result is imminent. Patience pays in the long run. In a generation where everyone wants to get anything and everything faster than it should be, patience has been sidelined. However, one thing we should always keep in mind is that anything gotten as a result of patience lasts longer.

Patience is key. Patience requires perseverance and consistency. Dedication is also necessary when being patience. There is no quick quick method. Short cuts are not as short as they seem. Cutting corners and route just to attain a particular thing would have repercussions.
Wait on God and enjoy the process. The process can be really frustrating and hard but it is worth the wait. God's timing is perfect. Don't rush God and don't rush life. Some people when they badly need something, they remember to pray like God is a magician. We rush life like we won't die one day... Rushing things rarely has a good ending. It's rarely as perfect as expected.
One step at a time. Enjoy the process while you patiently wait for your results. Trust God as well, his timing is perfect. He has never been too late.

Patience means enduring.Patience is the ability to ensure or tolerate any situation without becoming or letting it make you frustrated , angry or bitter. Being patient is choosing not to get offended by your boss at work even if you are not at fault or even if it means saying sorry a hundred times.

Patience gives room and space for peace to gradually redirect or grow in where it was once not. Patience is a way of exercising or showing that you can control yourself , though the situation may seem unbearable for you to handle , but a simple act of walking away indicates patience.

Patience is not a sign of weakness, it doesn't mean you are weak rather it shows how mentally matured one is. A matured person needs to handle situations with patience, because it is very important, being patient in all we do in life is what makes life bearable as it seems, there is an adage that says, "more haste, less speed". The more impatient we become in getting they promotion, or in preparing that meal, or in leaving for a friend's child naming ceremony , the more time we waste in getting those things or getting to our destination on time or safe.
Lack of patience causes delay and death, the children of Israel would have gotten to the promised land in 40days ,but because of how impatient they were they spent 40years going round and around the promised land, their impatience made them die in the wilderness and only their seeds were able to get to the promised land, their impatience also made Moses their leader diaobey God and because of what he did , he too could not go into the promised land.

Having patience has so many benefits, they are
1-It opens our eyes and minds to the realization of the truth, that with time things will get better and God's plan for us.
2-It relieves us of the stress of thinking too much.
3-It gives us a clear insight of what life is all about.
4-With patience, we can have lasting relationships with our friends and families.
5-Having patience save us from regrets, regrets we get reminded of from rushing into traffic and getting involved in an accident, regrets from getting the food all burnt up or not well cooked , ruining careers our of the fast and bad decisions we have made.

Have patience, what do we all understand by patient. Patient is having long suffering.
Been patient pays than been smart, what do I mean by this. Let me explain further, some of us wants to make a quick money, or wants to get rich so fast, without knowing the danger of whatever it might cause us.
I know of a guy, with two kids, in a reputable organisation, he wasn't patient, he was lurred into fraud, which led to his dismal.
This guy was not patient enough, to maintain his status, never to give room to the devil.
He was looking presently at, what his mates are going home with, comparing it with his take home.
Presently, he is a taxi driver, he cannot work in any organisation, anylonger. His name was blacklisted, he can never have an operative account.
This guy was misled, though he bought the idea, the outcome of this is that he can never work with any reputable organisation, except he clears the mess.
We can also deduce from the bible, the story of Hannah.
Hannah was a patient woman, even when penniah mocked her, though the husband was encouraging her, but he needed an answer because her case was urgent .
She was a very patient woman, which she never regretted.
When you are patient, do no always give room to competetion.
Show me any one who is patient , they always get the best.
In the book of 1 Samuel 1:9 So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD.1:10 And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.1:11 And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.1:12 And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.1:13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.1:14 And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.1:15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.1:16 Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.1:17 Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.1:18 And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.1:19 And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife and the LORD remembered her.1:20 Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.1:21 And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.

Yes,we need to have patience in everything we do. When you are happy have patience, when you are sad have patience, when you need the help of a man have patience, when you a re waiting on God you need to exercise great patience.

Patience works hand in hand with faith. The Bible says faith without work is death and of the work the Bible is saying is patience. To be patient when you see others with the same thing you have been praying for getting bit with ease might be be hard. Especially when you're asking or requesting for something from the hand of God and it seem like it's not forth coming. My dear, don't be sad, don't thimt of getting shott cut for yourself, don't think of going the way that is not of God because all things that happens to you and I happens for a particular reason.

There was a time I needed accommodation, I had prayed to God for it but it was like God already turned his deaf ears to my side. I was tired of going to school from home because the transport fare was killing, the road was bad to be going through it to and fro everyday, I am not always composed when I get to class in the morning and it was almost exam period and I knew I ought to be in the school environment if I really want to pass my exams.

I had to stop praying and started going from one student to the other and they were like I don't take roommate, my landlord won't agree, my landlady won't agree, my boyfriend do come around and he won't like it . The only option coming to me was to leave with a gur and I was like that will be a stain on me. My type of person can't even stay with a guy for two days and be fine nit to talk of live with a guy.

I decided I wanted to rent an apartment with my fees, thank God at that point I was patient. My coursemate was like there's vacancy in his house and I actually wanted to pay half payment.
At that point, my nerves are already calm and I went to God and told him, If this is your will let the landlord accept and if not let him disagree and I was patient like that for like two to three landlord.
At last where I rented was calm, peaceful, a very nice place even with the half payment and my course mates was like how come they didn't see the house in the first place. It was like the place was divinely arranged for me and I and the owner relate like family.

Patience helped me get the place, if I only prayed without being patient for God to sort things out his way, I might be regretting today. Please, let's learn to have some patience in everything we do, it will surely help. Shalom!
