Parents sometimes place importance on a particular child because of the position that child occupies in the home.
Every parent too is a child in the families they came from.
In the bible, Esau switched positions with Jacob his twin brother just because of food. He didn't value his position as the first child ( even if it had been predestined before they were born). This caused him a lot of problems much later.
Some people are the first Borns but they act like the last Borns while some last Borns act like the first Borns.
Only the presence of some people in a family has brought a lot of glad tidings and vice versa.
We should always understand the importance of our position in a family.
It is not mandatory that a first born must always take up the financial tasks in the house especially if he/ she is not fit for it.
If God has blessed the other children in the family, then met them take up the responsibility happily for God saw the firstborn before blessing others.
We need to get rid of that African mentality in us that makes it mandatory for the first born to always handle financial obligations.
Do you know that your position in your family can also bring a divine covering, glory or Protection on your family?
This may sound strange to some people but it's the truth.
So think about it: What do you understand by the position you occupy in your family, how important is it?

You are right.
Sometimes it is best to understand our stands or position in a family settings. If you are a child in that family, it is right for you to submissive and obedient to your parents.
That will help in tackling issues of children insulting their parents.
Also if you are father know your duties as a father. Father is not all about being the bread winner but also know your specific duties to your children as a disciplinarian, a protector, a supporter and also a dad.
Also as a supporter and a partner to your wife. With all this addressed. Family issues will reduced drastically

I understand my position in the family so well because my position as the firstborn comes with a lot of responsibilities so there is this cautiousness that I have to do extra even when I don't feel like it because I have people look Io for me; although the people might not be the whole world but the amazing thing is that your siblings are looking up to you.
We all need to check ourselves from time to time so that we can keep remembering our responsibilities despite the position that we are in our family. You all need to know that no matter the position you are in, you will contribute to things in the family. It's good and excellent for individuals to start working on themselves for the task set before them.

What is family. Family are group of people related by blood.
I understand my position in the family firstly as a child to my parent, as a brother to my siblings.
But right now as a father figure to my siblings and other younger once.
Responsibility are attached to the level of your status in the family where people sees as a guide and a person who have possitive mindset always.

It is a very important thing to know our position in the family because when a purpose of a thing is not known abuse is inevitable also when you don't know who you are you may keep answering to who people called you to be so, therefore, you need a full understanding of yourself.
We are not in the family for fun. We are in the family for a purpose and that purpose is something every individual must have asked themselves. Although, there are people who are not even bothered. I am pointing out tonight that you need to be bothered to function well and also to fulfill the purposes of your position in the family.
The moment you've gotten the answer to your questions the next thing is to take practical steps to fulfill the purpose and also start working on the reality of your position.
