Politics » HOW HAVE THE IGBOS BECOME A THREAT TO LAGOSIANS ? by: Obajichi(f) .:. Mon, 27 Mar, 2023 - 04:23:17:pm GMT
The elections have come and gone but it has left a sour taste in the political mouths of the electorates.

Every state in Nigeria had it's fair share of this sour taste but the case of Lagos seems not to be abating because it is something that has been brewing in the background for a very long time now even before the elections.

A lot of Igbos received threats from different political parties in Lagos state leading to the destruction of lives and valuable property.

Now that the elections have ended, they are counting their losses.

Surprisingly, the ones who were attacked in all of this are the ones who are accused of being a threat to LAGOSIANS.

In Lagos State, if you're not Yoruba, it is assumed that you're Igbo even if you're from Benue State.

If non- Lagosians have lived , worked there for donkey years and achieved something for themselves, how then can one say they are a threat to LAGOSIANS ?

It beats my imagination to hear such .

Maybe I'm missing something somewhere, but by general observation, it is mostly the non - Lagosians who pay high prices for the landed properties there because fortunately, they have flourishing businesses that enable them to afford it .

Besides, no one has autonomy of making money in Lagos state. As long as you are strong enough, you can make money by working so that you can acquire as much as you want and beat your chest at your level of achievement.

I haven't heard that an Igbo man in Lagos stopped anyone in particular from achieving financial freedom where business and material wealth are concerned.

How are the Igbos a threat to LAGOSIANS ?

**I love being me.**
