Most plus size people are into taking of weight loss pills to shed off some weight so that they can either fit into the crowd or fit into clothes .


In most cases, these weight shedders use just about any weight loss pills they can lay their hands on without consulting a weight loss expert or doctor. So, they use it without proper prescription and medical supervision.

The other side of the coin to this remedy ,which they don't know is that , it could sometimes be devastating.

Nevertheless, it all depends on the type of drug one takes and how the drug works.


It all depends on :

1) If the drugs are stimulant types : This can lead to insomniac, increased blood pressure, fast heart rate, abuse and withdrawal symptoms.


2) If the drugs interfere with fat absorption. It can lead to gas and soft stools .


3) If the drugs contain substances that could cause stomach side effects like diarrhea, upset stomach, heartburn, constipation.


4) If the pills contain substances that affect neurotransmitters in the brain that could lead to headaches , dry mouth, dizziness and vomiting.

It's better to use weight loss pills together with low calorie diet and for a doctor to approve exercise plan for best results.


If you stop using weight loss pills , then you must stick to your diet plan so you don't gain back more weight.


So even when the society is placing an insane amount of pressure on you to conform to beauty and weight standards, always remember that there could be two sides to this remedy.
