Properties/Estates » FIXED ASSESTS VERSUS BUSINESS by: Osaroju(m) .:. Mon, 18 Apr, 2022 - 06:15:08:am GMT
My boss said something on one occasion and that taught me a valuable lesson.

I just decided to drop it here, so it could also be a blessing and inspiration or lesson to someone else.

He said "BUSINESS COMES BEFORE FIXED ASSEST"

Some people get money in huge some or some other people save money and these monies are geared towards acquisition of properties land and houses

These properties are in their self good. They are called fixed assest, because they are not movable.

On the other hand, there is business.

So by the title of this writeup it now seems that there is a tug of war between doing a business and having a fixed assest.

That day also my boss went a bit further to explain why he said that business comes before fixed assets.

He said when you have a running business, over time the business would generate money to acquire and finance any fixed assest.

Fixed assests as we have been taught and known for a long time now are for examples land and houses majorly. Having some heavy machinery, i think would also be included in ths list. Now these things are called assests becasue they are supposed to generate money for us, they appreciate over time also.

Business on the other side of this discuss is the rendering of services or production of goods for customers.

I am not a financial adviser and hence i would put an end to my writeup here.

But i would really love to know what you think about the above.

PS: The person who actuay made rhe statement has both rhe business and fuxed assest.
