This is a real life story.... A rich pastor bought a new car and decided to give it to one of his church members, he never had anybody in mind but he promised to give it to anyone with a strong faith. During the church vigil that very day around 11pm, he stood up and said,"if you know that you can buy me a car tomorrow, please stand on your feet" nobody stood up, he added again,"if you know that God can use you to buy me a car tomorrow, please stand to your feet",still nobody stood up. He said it for the third time and a poor man stood up, he ordered the man to come out to the pulpit, he came out and the pastor handed a car to him and said......."Because you believe that Almighty God can use you to buy a car for me tomorrow, Tonight God has given a new car. "The poor man did not even has any money in his bank account but he believed God can use him to buy a car for the pastor. And that was how he owned a brand new car that night.... So this shows you that with Faith all things are possible if only you believe. A you just need is a faith like mustard seed.

My brother brother the concept of Faith can't be overemphasized, of all the things that you could possibly use to please God in this world, In Hebrews 11:6 it says without faith it is impossible to please God” that got me thinking because a lot of Christians try to make God responsible for what is actually their responsibility. Sometimes you hear some people make statements like, If God didn't want that thing to happen, why did He let it happen?” For those who talk like that, it's obvious that they are not aware that authority to change things in the earth doesn't rest with God, for He's delegated that authority to us His children. So faith is the authority given to us by God to live a better life in this world!!! Hence we have the responsibility to change things when the circumstances of our lives don't line up with the provisions of the good life ordained for us by God, and that's what the poor man did in the church during that vigil, In Matthew 17:20, Jesus let's us know that You, not God, can do Anything: verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place and it shall remove and nothing shall be impossible unto you” If He had said nothing shall be impossible unto God, that would have been easy enough to agree with everybody ought to know that. But he said nothing shall be impossible unto You!!! And this poor man took the word in vigil and believed it, because he believed it he acted on it by standing up, and don't be surprised that right there in service there could be many millionaires in church but they didn't have the fate to give the pastor a car tomorrow even if they had the money, and they also didn't have the Faith in God to use them to get the pastor a car tomorrow, that's the world we are in today, and I tell you this with all sincerity of heart, that if the pastor had not given this poor man the brand new car, God would have still used this poor man to bless the pastor with a car, How He will do it, I don't know but that's why He is God!!! Finally i conclude with this Mark 9:23 Jesus Christ said All things are possible to him that believes” So the big question is, do you believe? if you do, then what do you believe? For our faith is seen in our beliefs!!!

A good example to learn from. And I really love the faith the poor man had. And like what piwizo said that there would be some rich men in the church that day but never had the faith to stand up for what the pastor said. And it's just the truth. Faith is not determined by how rich you've become or how how poor you've become. But faith is determined by how strong you are in believing. Some people will say it is what you see you believe and you don't believe what you didn't see. But I tell you if you can't believe what you have not seen, how can you believe what you will see. It's like saying if you don't believe the Bible that Jesus is the son of God and he died and resurrected and went back to heaven and will come someday, how can you believe when Jesus comes. and even if you later believe, it will be too late. Like what happened in that church now, when the poor man stood and the pastor gave him a car. Some people within themselves will say ah, I believe I can buy the pastor a car tomorrow. But it is too late. Now they see and they believe but it was too late. Faith is believing in what you've not seen. But you just believe it will be.

This man's faith is so remarkable. Just an act of faith and he became a car owner.

Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."

Faith comes as a result of believing in God- His word, promises and abilities. When we allow the truth in the gospel to affect our lives, it changes our thoughts about everything. It makes us believe the impossible can become possible and as well believe that, it becomes our reality.

*Faith in God strengthens our inner man to stay put and endure trials.
Faith pleases God - Heb.11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." One who pleases a King surely gets rewarded.

The Bible also lays emphasis on the benefit of faith in 1John 5:4 saying "Every God-begotten person conquers the world's ways. The conquering power that brings the world to its knees is our faith." Faith brings the world its knee! In verse 5 it also says "Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]?"

Having faith is necessary also because ofnthe emotion of fear. Fear defeats, it holds a person back from reaching its potential. I guess some of the church members were scared of lifting their hands up - that might not have any resources and they feel they would be indebted to the pastor.
Faith is as important as the air we breathe.

FAITH FOR RECEIVING

Faith is acting out the word based on scriptural conviction so that God can perform. Hebrews 11:1 : Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Faith is believing God when you have seen nothing so that something can appear. Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. God cannot lie 2 Timothy 2:13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. It is therefore expedient for man to have faith so as to receive from God.

FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE FAITH

- Adequate Preparation: "Preparedness precedes manifestation." Where there is no expectation, there is no faith. God expects man to be prepared before He commits Himself to give unto man that which he strongly desire. To ask God for things you are not prepared for is a waste of time because God doesn't waste resources. Truly, God gives out of abundance but He is mindful of your resourcefulness to that which He will give to you. Amos 4:12 Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

- Appreciation: Romans 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief but was strong in faith, giving glory to God
Abraham keep faith alive with praise to God even when He hadn't gotten the promise. Appreciation to God converts the expectation of man to manifestation. That's why it is good to develop a habit of thanksgivings.

Quote from Blackie: Faith is having a strong belief in someone or something that is yet to produce result. The bible defines "Faith as the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"(Hebrews 11:1). Imagine someone telling me I'd travel to Canada to complete my studies and I strongly have faith that God will do it, that is faith. The fact that we strongly believe that something will yield positive results shows how strong our faith in God is. It's not only about having faith, it is also about working towards it. Faith and Hard-work work well together. You know God will do it, but yet you don't just sit down and waiting for a miracles. Miracles do happen only if your Faith in God is strong and you also work hard. **--realitycheck**

Faith is my greatest weapon, I have so much faith in God. I have been through a lot in this life that if not for Faith I would have lost it all. When I got my mission into the university my father had just 2000 naira in his account. Smiles which is very funny because right now I'm in my finals and I'm still shocked that I am still surviving I have not started crawling on the floor licking peoples leg to beg for money. When I got my admission my father said we're all going to go on three days fruit fasting and so we started with so much faith I was hoping and didnt know where the money would come from but I wanted this admission because I've been looking for admission for 2years then. After the fasting and prayer my dad was like he believes God will do something and to be sincere we started getting offers like someone in the community who did not knowanything just came and gave us 30000 naira, people in church a man just called my dad all of a sudden said what about you daughter's school what's going on and my father said its admission money he was looking for that's was how we got 50000 naira. Alot happened because we believed in God. Down to my final year. Having strong faith in God is good.

Abigail, a little girl was born with major health problems which left her crippled. She had a large, wonderful Christian family. But whilst her brothers and sisters enjoyed running and playing outside, she was confined to braces.
Her parents took her to the rehabilitation center periodically for physical therapy, but the little girl's hope was dim. "Will I ever be able to run and play like the other children?" she asked her parents.
"Darling, you only have to believe," they responded. "If you believe, GOD will make it happen."

She took her parents' counsel to heart and began to believe that GOD could make her walk without braces. Unknown to her parents and doctors, she practiced walking without her braces with the aid of her brothers and sisters. On her twelfth birthday, she surprised her elders by removing her braces and walking around the doctor's office unassisted. Her doctors couldn't believe her progress. She never wore braces again.

Her next goal was to play basketball. She continued to exercise her Faith and courage - as well as her underdeveloped legs - and went out for the school basketball team. The coach selected her older sister for the team, but the courageous girl was told she wasn't good enough to play. Her father, a wise, loving man, told the coach, "My daughters come in pairs. If you want one, you have to take the other also." Reluctantly the coach added the girl to the team. She was given an outdated uniform and allowed to work out with other players.

One day she approached the coach. "If you will give me an extra 10 minutes of coaching each day, I'll give you a world class athlete." He laughed, then realized she was serious. He half-heartedly agreed to give her some additional time playing two-on-two with her best friend and a couple of boys. Before long her determination started to pay off. She showed tremendous athletic skill and courage, and soon she was one of the team's best players. Wow!

When you hear inspiring stories of faith like that of Abigail, do you sometimes wonder, "Is faith really the critical element which allows some people to rise above seemingly incredible odds and achieve things others cannot? Can faith also do great for me?"

By now you should have a good idea that the answer to those questions is yes. Faith is indispensable to the Christian Life. The author of Hebrews capsulized it by writing: "Without faith it is impossible to please GOD, for he who comes to GOD must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarded of those who seek Him" (Heb. 11:6). Believing who GOD is, what He says and what He does is the passkey into the kingdom of GOD. Faith is the essence of the day-to-day activity. Paul wrote: "As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk with Him" (Col. 2:6). How did you receive Christ? By faith. How then are you to walk in Him? By faith. In scripture, walking refers to the way you conduct your everyday life. The Christian's daily success at spiritual growth and maturity hinges on walking by faith in Christ. Believing in what GOD has accomplished for us and in who we are as a result of His grace is the basis for Christian maturity.

Faith is believing. I want to tell a quick story about myself. Before I got into the university I will jump several times but admission did not come. So I made a vow to God I told him that if he could give me this admission I will continue to praise him all the days of my life. I didn't just make that vow i had faith in God in heaven, i knew he could do it. And surely he did it.

So ladies and gentlemen always have faith trust in God don't trust man. God will never fail you but man will.

If you're trusting God for something have faith in him trust him and he will Grant your heart's desires. God will never let your enemies laugh at you but it will make your enemies celebrate with you.

If you're trusting God for the fruit of your womb have faith in him. If you are trusting God for job have faith in him. if you are trusting God for admission have faith in him. Thank you.

Faith, the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, is the currency used to make a transaction with heaven. It is that spiritual substance that connects men to God for divine intervention. Faith is totally depending on the word of God without wavering until that word is fulfilled. Our faith moves God. "If thou could have faith like a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, be thou removed and it shall be removed"(paraphrase)
Faith is the doorway to results. It makes God's integrity a reality in a man's life. Every child of God has a measure of faith. Understand how faith works and get results because, your understanding level determines the results you will get.
Faith is the heart of the Christian Life. When there is faith failure, there is heart failure. Faith makes the word of God a reality. It is beyond logic and human reasoning. The ways of God differs from that of man, so is faith compared with logic.
Isaiah 55:8-9 " For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts".
Faith is our capacity to receive from God. Understand how faith works and experience breakthrough in different areas of your life.

Faith..... Faith is having a total believe in almighty God the creator of the universe. When you don't have faith then you may encounter some problems, anything you want in life most go along with faith, because it is when we have faith then our prayers will be answered, (with faith all things are possible) if you have faith all things would be possible for you , some people loos hop in life because they did not have faith, faith work together with your prayers, prayer alone can't solve our problems but prayers along with faith beliving in God is your just what you need but to have faith in God, faith is the powerful weapon to succeed in life. Even as a human being you need to have faith in your self do as to have a great positive achievement In life because in any thing we are doing we need faith to trigger our efforts for good outcome.
