Naija News recalls that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, was in Osun State on Thursday to campaign for the presidency.
Tinubu spoke on the education agenda during the APC presidential election campaign, appealing for the support of APC.
The former governor of Lagos State, speaking in Yoruba in a video seen online, said uneducated Nigerians could call him boss if he remained in the job for more than eight years.
In most universities, the total year is four years, schools such as Engineering, Agriculture and others are five years, and Medicine is six years.
The APC presidential candidate may plan to serve four years instead of eight.
"If you spend more than eight years in and out of school, you spend eight years in school," Tinubu said during his presidential campaign speech.
Commenting on the video which went viral on the internet and social media platforms, Melaye said: "My God! My God! 8 years? Even 6 years of medicine. This is the status quo."
