It is a good thing that people could show support to the people close to them.
My question is, why is it that when people that are sick and has dropped their details on social media requesting for medical assistance and get almost nothing?
Why are the people not showing up for such needs?
It is a good thing also that Davido out of his good will, donated all the money to charity making him a better man

Alot of people made that contribution for their own personal interest.
Some people made the contribution because they wanted to gain public recognition from Davido himself.
But we've got those that are in need around nd we find it very hard to help them.

@Taofeek: I feel if Davido had told his fans to make contributions for him so that the money would go to charity, I don't think a lot of people would turn up for the contribution like they did for his birthday which was more than #200 million.

I read lots of comments here and seriously you guys are right to some extent. But let pause and think about this question "In what direction does money flow?" You will agree that with your experience on earth, money has never flowed in the direction of needs. If it has, we won't have any poor people today, the money would have flowed to them and they will be rich.
You said they gave him money because he dropped hits for them. That's it! Money only flows in the direction of value!
If Davido has not given them any value, who will know him today, talk more of dashing his money!
We need to understand that money only flows in the direction of value! When you have value to offer, am talking about the value that is needed, there's no stopping point to your greatness! You can ask the President of the US for something and he will do more than you asked, why? Because of the value, you are giving him.
No wonder God had to place numerous blessings on Giving! Am telling you guys, if he didn't, no one, I repeat no one! Will choose to be generous in absence of value!

That is how Nigeria citizen behave you see adeleke David porpularly known as davido received 200million for his birthday gift .
And in the other side there are sick people at the hospital who are in need of help but no one to help them see the country we are , davido is already rich and have fame so why is it that these people who send money to davido can't help the poor people in the society theis is un fear , although davido too the money to the motherless home according to news he did well in that side of it .

@lilcent: giving davido a birthday gift is right , during these period that some people can not afford a single meal not talking about the three meal per day.
The needy are out there what davido did with that money is very good according to the news I read David adeleke took all those money to the orphanage home .
Nigeria is a country where people cry and those that supposed to help them are not ready to help , but during party ,celebration you will see people spending money.

If money flows in the direction of value, what value will a sick to death person give as value? what about children born with disabilities? who will help them? remember that the people in the orphanage homes are cared for by people who give without looking for what they did. They gave because their heart is blessed. so only a blessed heart can give from the well of the blessedness
