A corporal in the Nigerian Army , Abayomi Ebunb, has crushed to death the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre ,NAFRC, Director if Finance, Brig.-Gen. A. O. James with his car.
This incident happened at the NAFRC old Barracks , in Lagos while the corporal was driving out of the barracks.
The Army General was confirmed dead , when he was taken to the NAFRC Medical Center immediately after the accident.
It was gathered that Gen. James was walking to his house within the barracks when the corporal's car hit him from behind.
Ebun, the drunk driver was driving recklessly at the time of the incident.
He has been detained by the NAFRC provost for further investigation.
The late General was also the Monitor General,SEC 40, of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Plateau State.
The Senior Officer, James, died from injuries sustained from the accident.
