This is impression anyone reading this post will gain one or two things from it , nevertheless I will say that waiting sometimes kill your vision for doing things.

Time is not by anyone side it comes and go every day , therefore one should not wast time for nothing the little period you have find something to do.

In the article I notice you make use of the opportunity during the Assu strike this is Nigeria where students go on a strike for six month ,seven month doing nothing.

During this period of strike one can get involved in some things that would be useful to him or her and the society at Large.

This post is useful in all areas of life. A lot of people are so stuck or stereotyped at one thing and forget that something could go wrong with thar thing.

Humans should be versatile and try out new things. There's an advantage in being a jack of all trades.

For example, in marriage,if a couple isn't bearing children, they can focus on their businesses, career or ministry.
All aspects of your life must not come to a standstill just because one area is not making progress.

Whilst focusing on the other aspects, something good could happen to one's life.

Where the devil thinks you have failed, he'll be surprised to see that you have made tremendous progress in other areas.

You're absolutely correct, I will like to add that in my journey through so far, I've come to realized that there's really nothing like DELAY! I've come to realized that people only experience it, if they termed it Delay, if they don't, then there's nothing like DELAY.

Last year, while waiting for strike to end so I can go to university of Jos to begin my tetiary education. One day, mum was looking at me pitifully. Then I turned to her and told her what I wrote above in the first paragraph.

I came to that realization because while it seems my going to university was taking longer than user, I was busy growing my content writing skills. I was busy applying for content writing jobs, getting jobs in return and enrolling for classes just to sharpen my skills in content writing and writing in general.

In fact, if not for the long break of staying at home 3 years after secondary school, I don't think I will ever be able to realized my creative skills in writing. Tell me guys, at the end of the day, will I say I experienced delay? No!

I will rather say, Everything happened at the right time for me. The best and right time for me to discover and start developing this creative mind's talent which God has given me was during that period.

This apply to every area of our lives, if it happens that things didn't go as planned and we realized we can't do what we are supposed to be doing at the moment. The best way to shame devil is to the find something else meaningful to be doing.

Personally, I believe that is the time God wants us to be doing something different rather wishing we follow the norm. We just need to open our eyes to see. May God continue to help us.

Wow! Thanks for this inspirational article. Looking at what you said that when you do nothing while waiting you waste away and that is nothing but the truth. Our body doesn't like to be idle and you will notice that whenever you stay too idle you start to become irrelevant even to things you could do normally.

This is very common among students especially when given a holiday or when the school is on break. You will see students just sleeping and waking up every day without doing anything and they don't know that this affects their brains indirectly. Life is beyond living in your comfort zone and some days living outside of your comfort zone pays.

Always remember that you are found and vibrant so therefore you need to exercise your brain and body to start fit and healthy.

It is important to recognize your waiting period and this will help you to navigate through a lot of things. There are certain periods that things aren't forthcoming, it may be that you are expecting that result to come out or awaiting the response from the interview you did. As much as the result is yet to reach your hand, it is important to start working towards another means or looking at another way of making things beautiful to you.

The time of waiting is a time not to delay or waste but a time to equip yourself and navigate through the next step and give yourself a good evaluation of what ifs. It. Is very possible that what you are expecting will come and if it doesn't you, are just going to wait there all in vain. Take that step today and start something irrespective of whether you are expecting something or not.
