I've heard someone says that God knows why we are in one situation or the other. Some people say our destiny has been written already, when will pass through some things, it has been written to be so. My question is, does God really want us to suffer? The Bible says that God is not the author of confusion. It also says in James that when we fall into temptation, that we shouldn't say it's from God. Evil and good cannot work together. Light and darkness cannot work together. My other question is, is it right to say God has written it to be so?

God never created us to suffer and never wants us to suffer. That is why when he created man, he said man should have dominion, replenish the earth. He created food along. If he had wanted man to suffer he wouldn't have created things man can eat. And imagine again he knew man needs support. He created a woman. The mind of God towards man is to succeed and be without lacking.

Well it depends on what perspective you are looking at it from, because suffering could mean many things, if you are talking of suffering as regarding living in poverty, then I will say no because Christ came to die for us, Bible recorded that he was poor so that we would become rich, so if any person is suffering and attrubing his suffering to God, then that person is wrong, God doesn't want us to suffer in that aspect, by living from hand to mouth or being financially handicapped and unstable, that's not God's plan at all, the Bible said in third John chapter two, God speaking, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospereth, that's amazing and awesome, God ultimate desires number one priority is for us to succeed and excel in life, but there is another kind of suffering that every true believer must encounter that's the suffering of the gospel, suffering for the name of Christ by going through diverse temptations, Bible said we should count it all joy when we fall into diverse temptations, from the world, so we have our cross to carry, that kind of suffering is called sacrifice!!! It inloves praying when you feel like and when you don't feel like, fasting when you feel like and when you don't feel like, going on evangelism, being a witness, helping the poor and less privilege, the widows and widowers, touching lives around you!!! It involves loving those that despise you, it's not easy but it must be done!!! Remember Jesus prayer on the cross when he was being crucified, He said Father forgive them for they know not what they do, that's the kind of suffering we must undergo as Christians by carrying our cross and following the Masters footsteps!!!

God doesn't want us to suffer at all, he already created everything we will ever need in this life and have given us the power and mandate to be in charge, God is love hence we are product of love, no loving father will desire to see his kid suffer, we are children of God, any child of God that is suffering, the problem is not with God but with the one who is suffering, Bible make us to to understand in the book of Hosea chapter four and verse six, that my people perish because of the lack of knowledge, meaning that if a child doesn't know that his father is a king in the kingdom he finds himself in, a slave can order him about but the day he has that knowledge that his father is king, he will realize that he's in charge, so what Christians might be facing as sufferings sometimes isn't necessary, it's as a result of lack of understanding, and it's understanding that makes a person outstanding!!! Refuse to suffer today, it doesn't prove you're living for God, sufferings don't make you righteous, so stop allow people or pastors deceiving you, enjoy your life as a Christian, that's the best life you could ever leave and it's a life of abundance, Jesus Christ said in John ten verse ten, the thief comes to steal, kill and to destroy but I have come that you have life and have it in abundance!!! That clearly shows us that God doesn't want us to suffer because the gold and the silver are his.
