Health » DOES ALCOHOL CAUSE ILLNESSES? by: Obajichi(m) .:. Thu, 12 Jan, 2023 - 08:32:20:am GMT
Getting drunk is not the only bad side of alcohol.

As pleasurable as consuming alcohol may seem, it can like wise be dangerous to our health.

Many alcoholics brag about not being affected by alcohol health wise but in reality and without their knowledge , their bodies are gradually being consumed by illnesses related to excessive consumption of alcohol .

It baffles me to see a pregnant woman consuming alcohol. I once heard of a pregnant woman who was fond of that and this made even the child in her womb to become fond of alcohol.

When the child was born , it was very difficult to breast feed the baby because it didn't like the taste of breast milk.

One of the woman's friends who knew of the woman's history of alcohol advised a relative to go and get alcohol as that was surely the only liquid the baby could consume .

To everyone's surprise, the baby sipped it pleasurably.

What a pathetic situation!

Some of these alcohol causing illnesses include:

1) High blood pressure, liver disease and digestive problems.

2)Cancer of the breast, mouth , throat liver, colon.

3) Weakening of the immune system.

4) Memory loss and memory problems .
5) Mental health problems like dementia and poor school performance.

No matter how much one loves alcohol , it must be taken in moderation to avoid Illnesses that could put one's life at risk.

What other illnesses do you know that is caused by alcohol ?

Although too much of every thing is bad I believe if you take it in a normal way it shouldn't have affect you or somthing.

Alcohol can cause illness when is been consumed too much , don't take it like a water but once in a while.
If you have been addicted to it can later lead to illness.

Alcohol can cause dangerous illness to the body expecialy the liver.
If taken morderatly it has soy benefits.
But first of all know if you are healthy enough to take it.

Below are some benefits if taken morderatly:

-It helps the brain: By preventing the cause of Alzheimer's (Stroke and heart frases).

-less likely to get kidney stones: The reason is that alcohol makes you pee more often, that helps clear out the tiny crystals that form stones. Drink too much, though, and you can get dehydrated, and that increases your risk of kidney stones along with other health problems.

-It helps your heart: If you're in good shape, moderate drinking makes you 25% to 40% less likely to have a heart attack, stroke, or hardened arteries. This may be because small amounts of alcohol can raise your HDL ("good" cholesterol) levels. Heavy drinking, on the other hand, boosts your risk of heart disease.

It is better for you to be wise because if you don't take care of your health, you will stress those around you, and you will suffer more.

Health is wealth.

Thank you.
