Yes water is good. But I have also heard that too much water in the system is not good that it can flush vital vitamins out of the body.

Water is very good to the human body as it helps keep the operation of internal organs running smoothly. Outwardly, the body responds faster to activities after being hydrated. Also, it has been recorded severally, that drinking enough water aids digestion of food and it enhances the human health.
