Selling/Buying » Be consistent in business. by: Jt-unique(m) .:. Thu, 27 Dec, 2018 - 04:42:26:pm GMT

If you were to wear a smart business suit every day and then suddenly without warning, turn up in jeans and a worn T-shirt, chances are people would look at you in an open mouth posture.

If you turn in good work and then one day hand in a pile of rubbish, people are going to think you've blown it.

If you treat your staff courteously until one day you blow your top and shout at everyone, they won't trust you anymore.

If you do go to work early everyday and suddenly you stop going to work early, you will disappoint your costumers.
If the quality of your products used to be top of its class, and you change the quality by lowering it. Costumers are going to be disappointed and eventually you will be left no costumers.

If your delivery services are the best and affordable, one day you just turned and disappointed customers waiting for delivery, things are gonna get ugly. They may cease from being your customers.

People need to know what they expect from you. You have to be consistent. You have to continue in quality production. Don't change from being good at your work. You must avoid drawing the spotlight of gossip down on you. You must be blameless, honest, reliable.
You don't have to be dull or boring. You can be dynamic, exciting, stylish, innovative, challenging , just make sure that whatever it is you decide to be, you stick at it and be consistent consistently.

As a business enthusiast, I have made my research and discovered that the success of any business is so much dependent on the key decision makers in the business. The business owners need not just be groomed on making major decisions that will lead to growth and development of the business. They need to go any mile and discover the area of the business that has a multiplier effect on growth and development of the business and be CONSISTENT in making major decision in that area.

This has proven to be an act behind every business growth. You can imagine why some firms invest heavily on marketing and advertising of new and existing products. When the public know about your product, there tend to be a patronage.
The business in question will as well be CONSISTENT in know what action of their will have this multiplier effect of business growth and development as this can change over time.
As a business evolves consumers' need may tend to change and this is the primary focus of every business to satisfy the consumers.
If you have the best product in the market, your ability to be CONSISTENT in the supply and satisfaction of your consumer need still remains a big plus in your pursuit for business growth and development.

Consistency is actually a virtue with so many links to greatness if applied to a good course. Consistency simply means doing something regularly. Charles Dickens said "I could never have done what I have done without the habits of punctuality, order and diligence, without the determination to concentrate myself on one subject at a time." Punctuality, order, diligence and determination are components of consistency and with undivided attention to a course success is achievable.

With consistency, motive for a thing will be accomplished because for a target to be met the tasks for the target must be broken down into smaller units so as to avoid being overwhelmed. The smaller the task, the better in working consistently for the accomplishment of a goal.

Every good business has an intention to solve a problem in the society either by the direct or indirect interaction with the members of the society. For a business to be successful, there has to be a combination of persons and resources with the right motive to function as proposed for the business. A business must have a document that states it's vision, mission and steps to accomplish it's goals. Further, the document should contain futuristic projection which largely has to do with long term goals. Consistency is the fuel with which a business run it's strategies for success at the expiration of a short term or long term goal.

**Life is a race but with God's element of grace it'll be worth while to explore His goodness. **

Consistency in business means delivering the same service in a regular pattern. Being consistent allows you to establish a style, build trust in your customers and it helps you deliver your services efficiently. Consistency is really important in business. It is what has kept most brands relevant while others have gone into extinction. Not being consistent is very costly - you would lose customers.

We most times get tired of using the same pattern daily which is understandable. Should there be a need for change(which is not advisable), it should be an upgrade, otherwise stick to the original plan. Constantly changing one's style of delivering services might appear unprofessional.

Have a plan, this is a huge step to being consistent. A good plan should outline the goals and objectives. It is also not just having a plan, but putting it into action. Once it is put into action, then next step is to consciously make efforts to stick to it.

Being consistent really helps in a highly competitive environment as you already have a style. Consistency is what allows a business to grow. Customers expect the same standard and they feel satisfied when they get what they want, they would be inclined to return for more.

It is important to note that success does not just happen overnight as Jim Rohn said "Success is neither magical nor mysterious. Success is a natural consequence of consistently applying basic fundamentals." These fundamentals include - hardwork, having a plan and seeing it through, determination, good communication skills, discipline, amongst others.
