Politics » ATTACKING BUHARI WONT SAVE YOU, ATIKU TELLS TINUBU by: Oweiagbekemeprecious(m) .:. Thu, 26 Jan, 2023 - 01:05:47:am GMT
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has accused the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, of attacking President Muhammadu Buhari.

Atiku said this in response to Tinubu's controversial remarks in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, on Wednesday.

Tinubu, who has been campaigning in the state, said the fuel crisis and naira redesign were meant to disrupt the 2023 elections.

"They don't want this election to happen. They want to dissolve (the election). Can you let them? Tinubu asked the people present at the rally, who responded with a resounding no.

"Even if he said there is no fuel, we will try to choose. Their crimes are many they can say no fuel. They wanted to create a fuel crisis, but forgot.

"Let's increase fuel, just know where to store fuel, we have saved money, saved naira we will vote and win. I will change the ink on the Naira note. Whatever the plan is, it will fail. We will win. People in PDP will be lost (ma ma lule).

Atiku, in a statement by the General Assistant, Special Assistant, Phrank Shaibu, said: "He is angry that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has failed to stop the cashless policy and currency redesign. The credibility of next month's election has begun to cry for the imminent defeat of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu.

Tinubu addressed a gathering in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, where he said the redesign of the currency was aimed at him. The Bible says in Proverbs 28:1, "The wicked run when no one chases them, but the upright are as brave as a lion."

Although the CBN policy affects all 18 political parties, Tinubu is the only one who is disappointed… Disappointed by President Muhammadu Buhari's reluctance to attend several rallies, Tinubu launched an attack on the President who doubles as Minister of Petroleum.

A frustrated APC candidate said, "You save fuel and save naira. But, we will vote and win this election. If we change the ink of naira or spend until we borrow money, it will not work as expected, we will win the election and our opponent will fail."

"It is funny that Tinubu is commenting on fuel scarcity that has started in some parts of the country by February 2022. In Lagos, where Tinubu claims to be home, the country has witnessed fuel queues since last November. Therefore, the question of trying to distance ourselves from failure Tinubu's party 30 days before the election. Seeing his imminent defeat in the election, he again used fuel and naira scarcity as an excuse. Tinubu must throw in the towel or be ready to be disgraced on February 25, 2023. One word is enough to be wise."
