The girls who are minors , were handed over to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons.
The Comptroller of NIS, Rivers State Command, A.J. Kwasua, disclosed that two of the girls are 16 and the other who is 17 years , were rescued at Waterlines , a popular motor park in Port Harcourt on November 4.2022.
A 21 year old nursing mother who was involved in facilitating the trip was also arrested.
Upon interrogation, she confessed to the crime and also revealed she was acting as a syndicate with some recruiters in Edo State.
Due to the incessant calls from the mother of one of the victims, the nursing mother developed cold feet and could not proceed on the journey.
In that process, the NIS received an alert and quickly swung into action around 8:20pm, this led to their arrest.
The girls would be reunited with their families.

Wow! Thanks for the update. I do feel bad when I hear such news because it breaks my heart. The reason why the news so breaks my heart is that it involves ladies most of the time. The way the world sees ladies or how some men have termed ladies makes it feel as if they are less human.
It is a wrong ideology for ladies to see themselves as being useful only in a man's house or some have the ideology that their well-being is being determined by a man. Please and please do away with such ideology. You can be fine without being taken care of by a man. You are unique! You are an embodiment loaded with ideas all you need is to look beyond and bring out your gold.
