News/Events » ANOTHER NATIONWIDE BLACK OUT LOOMS by: Obajichi(f) .:. Thu, 08 Sep, 2022 - 06:20:00:pm GMT
It's been nearly three weeks since the last outage in the country and the Federal Government of Nigeria has not fulfilled it's agreement with the National Union of Electricity Employees.

To this end,the union is ready to embark on another nationwide strike since the two weeks given to the Federal Government has elapsed.

They are angry that the FG ,has refused to pay entitlements of some workers of the defunct Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN )and have also not implemented the 2019 agreement.

The NUEE has also informed Nigerians that the next outage will be the father of thr last one embarked upon two weeks ago.

What can we do or how productive can a nation be without power?
A national outage for God knows how long this time, will bring the economy to a standstill.
Even if you feel you can afford to generate power, it still won't be as effective as Government- supplied electricity.

Organisations and individuals of small businesses will definitely be at a loss.
It seems the only thing on the FG's agenda is the 2023 elections.

Their response to situations now is giving Nigerians the will power to decide right on the next leader.

Can we stand another outage?
It won't be funny at all!

**I love being me.**
