Diaries » LESSONS ABOUT THE GROUND WE TREAD ON. by: Obajichi(f) .:. Thu, 12 Jan, 2023 - 09:55:43:am GMT
We learn lessons about life , not just from living things but also from non living things.

The ground is the earth on which we all tread on and on which plants grow.

You see this common ground we all walk on , has something very unique about it.

It is simply called HUMILITY.

We do all sorts of things on the ground such as walking, building on it, sweeping it, breaking or drilling into it to get natural resources, pouring both solids and liquids on it even as trash.

The ground doesn't utter any audible word or speak any language , it doesn't act up but it is very HUMBLE no matter what life throws at it.

The ground naturally accepts both the living and the dead.

It knows that it is the final resting place of man or any creature.

The ground may look hard, smooth or rough, but it knows that people will eventually acknowledge it.

The major lesson I've learnt from the ground is HUMILITY.

Very few humans know this , that's why many brag or show off their possession or worth without the single thought that another may have more than them.

You don't need to announce yourself at all times, let another praise you.

Hmm! Something to ponder on.
What other lesson can you learn from the ground?

Wow! Thank you for opening our eyes to such lessons. The ground is such a patient thing I have ever known because of what every human does to it and yet it still accommodates us although that's the will of God.

We, humans, need to see that God so much loved us to the extent of giving us everything we want and yet still making us the ones in charge of all he has created. Such an amazing God! I don't see any reason why we should not acknowledge the good God.

We also need to know as humans that God gave us authority doesn't necessarily mean we should now be proud. I like the fact the first writer drew out from the Ground scenario and that's Humility. We all need to stay humble no matter what we have or have acquired.

As humans, we need to get to the point where we see whatever we have as a privilege from God. Learn not to see yourself as the provider instead acknowledge and give thanks to God.

**Life is good**

Thank you all for the insightful lessons you gave on the ground. The ground has some wonderful lessons everyone can learn from; I like the point you drew out which is humility. In today's world, not everyone is humble, especially when they are okay.

I don't know how some people just acclaimed their wealth to their power making them start becoming proud thereby shunning humility. I think they've all forgotten that it is God who maketh thee rich and no one else. Although you put in the work, God blesses the work; therefore stay humble!

Another lesson we all should learn from the ground is tolerance; despite all the things we do on the ground it tolerates us and never for once turns us down. Every human needs to tolerate his or her neighbor; not everyone can be like you, you need to learn to tolerate other attitudes and behaviors.

**Always put God first **
