The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) has said it has uncovered a plan to derail the forthcoming election and to also scuttle the ongoing Electoral Act amendment at the National Assembly.
The Spokesman and Chairman of Action People's Party (APP), Ikenga Ugochinyere ,alleged that there would be no electronic transmission of results or the Electoral Act, as the amendment process would not be completed in good time for the president to accent to it for use during the 2023 elections.
He also disclosed that incentives were planned to be exchanged to most of the National Assembly members in the harmonisation committee so that the electronic transmission of results does not see the light of day.
Ugochinyere, therefore, declared that Nigerians want electronic transmission of results and that INEC is ready for it.
I wonder what these allegations could portend for other parties?
