News/Events » PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES SIGN PEACE ACCORD AS CAMPAIGNS COMMENCE, TINUBU ABSENT. by: Obajichi(f) .:. Fri, 30 Sep, 2022 - 04:08:47:pm GMT
On Thursday, 28th 2022, the eighteen presidential candidates of political parties signed an agreement for a peaceful conduct ,during and after the 2023 elections.

The peace accord was organised by the National Peace Committee (NPC) co -led by former Head of State, General Abdulsalam Abubakar , Cardinal John Onayeikan and other eminent statesmen.

Their single aim is to ensure free, fair and credible elections in Nigeria together with peaceful campaigns.

However, only Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of APC was represented by his vice president, Alhaji Kashim Shettima who signed the agreement.

President Buhari called on all stakeholders to put Nigeria first above regional and sectional claims.

This will be the first time a peace accord is being signed for political campaign to be devoid of incitement, personal insults and attacks.

In the past, peace accord was only signed for election periods.

We sure hope that this peace accord is strictly adhered to.

This is good , those presidential candidate have already send their children to abroad they keep them there for safety and they will call the Nigeria youth to for their own campaign and they will sacrifice them in line with life and death.

My advice is that youth should not allow them to use them for campaign they will start to look for those who they will use for the campaign and mind you some people will still lost their life in this campaign .

There is no how campaign will be done that crisis will not occurred it is normal for crisis to occurred , nothing is fair in Nigeria every thing is risk in Nigeria and that is how it has been .
