Culture » YOUR MAINTENANCE CULTURE. by: Obajichi(f) .:. Fri, 30 Sep, 2022 - 11:24:07:am GMT
Maintenance culture is the lifestyle of preserving someone or something. It is to keep something in good condition.

In this part of the world, we are so good at setting up new structures, new programs, spending so much on flashy items like phones, cars, clothes the list is endless.

Unfortunately, more than half of our population lack a maintenance culture.
Even the increase in death of humans can be linked to lack of maintenance culture.

If a human being lacks proper care and doesn't eat the right things it could lead to a deteriorating health.

Even our surroundings need to be maintained so we don't have an epidemic.

Artefacts should also be maintained so we don't loose our cultural heritage.

Poor maintenance culture is a widely recognized problem in Nigeria be it at home, school , office or public places.

They say "Charity begins at home."
What happens in your personal life will rub off in public.

I remember using my father's Commerce textbook when I was in Senior secondary school. I passed that subject with an undeniable A1 and I still have that and other textbooks he preserved for his children.

Some people cannot pass down some things to another person simply because they lack proper maintenance culture.

As a person, how well do you maintain your personal belongings first before you think of maintaining public stuff?

**I love being me.**
