Deep down within all of us is a fount of wisdom. This is called intuition. Listening to your intuition is a slow learned process. It starts by recognizing that tiny inner voice or feeling that will tell you when you've done something you shouldn't have. It's an incredibly still, quiet voice and needs silence and concentration to hear it properly to begin with.

You might like to call it your conscience if you like, but deep down you know when you've done something bad. You know when you've got to apologize, make amends, put things right. You know. And I know you know. I know because we all know. There's no getting away from it. Once you start listening to that inner voice or feeling the feeling, you'll find it can help. It will become more than a mindless bird perched on your shoulder, chanting, "You messed up again" after the event. The key is when you hear your intuition telling you whether something is the right thing to do or not before you do it.

Try running stuff past your inner you before doing things and see what reaction you get. Once you get used to this, you'll find it easier. Imagine, in any situation, that you have a small child standing at your side and you have to explain things to them. Imagine that she asks questions-"Why are you doing that? What's right and wrong? Should we do this?", and you have to answer. Only in this situation, you ask the questions and you answer yourself. And you'll find you already know everything there is to know and everything you'll ever need to know .

Listen, it's all there. If you are going to trust any adviser, who will it be? It should be you because you have all the facts, all the experience, all the knowledge at your fingertips. No one else can get inside you and see exactly what is going on.

When I say listen, I don't mean mean listen to what goes on in your head. I mean a still, quiet voice. Sometimes, it's more of a feeling than a voice. This is not predicting about what is going to happen. No, this is the important thing. What we are about to do, big decisions we have to make, why we are behaving the way we are. You already know the answer, if you ask yourself.

**Happiness is free. **

This post got me thinking of what to reply. But seriously, you are right. Very right, though I prefer calling it conscience. It’s a good thing to know that you have to listen to your inner self, I can say your inner man. If you believe in what you perceive from inner self without doubting, you will walk the right man. Do you noticed that when God wants to speak, he speaks to your inner man. That is why you hear pastors say to you... if you want to hear from God, open up your heart. Yeah, God speaks to the inner man and devil speaks to the inner man. In other for you not to get into fucking mistakes, don’t use circumstances around to decide, at times you hear some voice when you are so angry and the voice says, do something bad. And you begin to feel revenge. Remember this that your inner man can be spoken to by devil. He can control your mind that is why The Bible says beware of the devices of the devil. That is same reason anger is not good for we humans cause it could give a way for the devil to control our inner man. It could allow the devil in. It is right to listen to yourself but be careful and make sure you are listening to the right words. Anytime you feel hurt , just calm yourself before listening to your decision.

I prefer to call it conscience, and it’s very good to listen to your conscience as a human being, but the most funny thing is that many a times some people or persons as it were have killed their conscience and intuition, whenever they do wrong they don’t feel bad about it, to them it’s the right thing to do, that’s why we see in our country today different negative occurrences, the herdsmen, boko haram, kidnapping and all that shenanigans, inflicting pain on fellow human beings even going as far as killing them, without blinking an eye, what a world what a life, using people for rituals or blood money what a life, please never get to that point in your life where you want to make ends meet by all mean and kill your intuition, yes the country maybe bad, yes they might be no jobs, yes life might be frustrating you in a way you can’t explain but never kill your conscience or intuition!!! A word they say is enough for the wise!!!
