From my own level of understanding and experience... Love is more than just love... Love is more than a feeling for someone...love is sacrifice.. Love is putting others first before you.. Love is giving.. Caring.. (physical showing of affection and not merely by confession)

In addition to what you have said, to me love is an identity, it is a nature, love is kindness, it is considering the need of others before yours like you have rightly said, love is giving, not just giving but giving your best, John 3:16 for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, the value of your love is seen in your sacrifice, it's seen in the worth of your sacrifice, how much you love is how much you give, for God so love that He so gave, whatever or whoever you love you give so much time, money, attention, focus, and you share all your plans and vision with, I dare to say love is a force, it causes you to do beyond the natural, love makes you do the extraordinary, the perfect description of love is believing in someone who doesn't have hope, who doesn't believes in himself, and changing the persons mindset to bring out the beauty and treasure in him, so the Bible made the best description of love for God is love!!! Thanks

Love is one of the most profound emotions we experience as humans. It's bigger than us,though, we can invite it into our lives, Cos we do not have the control on the how, when and where love developed itself. Maybe that's why most people gets confused when they are lust. They believe its love at first sight. Sometimes, love truly does strike like a bolt of lightening to the chest, and you aren't prepared for it. That's the illusion about love, one can feel it in various ways, when someone is feeling excited, sad, confused and angry. And our attitudes about love can range from affectionate love, to infatuation and pleasure. We even use love as an action, as a force to keep our relationships with partners, or friends and family, together. In extent's, there are many different kinds of love to experience, the romantic and affectionate expression of love is what, on some level, we're all seeking. The reason being that the majority of us find fulfillment through the comfort of a deeply committed and romantic relationship. Love can be experienced in our own different ways. Just like the way most people view love as the top reason they choose to get married. While others view it as (Ero) sexual and erotica, and( Philautia) self love. To finalize it, Love is kindness, love is peace and love is understanding, love is commitment, love is not just giving, it's appreciating one's present.
